I found my dress at Lana Addison and the experience of finding it and the alterations was great. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the communication regarding my dress from ordering it end of July/early August until it arrived April. I felt that I had to call the store to get updates and at times, it was unclear where the dress was to the staff as well. It was a little nerve-wracking, but at least I ordered my dress a year ahead of my wedding. Of course, I do not know all the ins and outs of the dress business but that is my POV as the customer. Otherwise, very nice staff and a great store!

My experience at Lana Addison from the start was amazing! The appointment booking process was seamless. The lead stylist, Claire, called me a few days before my appointment to touch base and make sure all of my questions prior to the appointment were answered. Every dress that Claire pulled for me to try on was stunning, but she nailed what I was looking for in the first dress she pulled for me to try on. Claire made me feel comfortable the entire time, answered all my questions, and was very knowledgeable about alterations that could be made to the gowns. I am so grateful to have found my dress at Lana Addison!

Lana Addison is the best! The ladies here have amazing taste when it comes to finding a dress that’s just right for you, your venue, your theme, etc. Willow and Catherine were so helpful and laid-back, which made the decision-making process exciting and enjoyable. Can't say enough wonderful things about Lana Addison. Claire at Lana Addison was SO incredibly patient with us. I was flying in from New York City that morning and she actually opened up the shop earlier than their business hours to meet us after arriving at the airport. She listened so clearly to what I wanted and was not phased when I tried on 9 dresses and didn't find the perfect one. She pulled one out at the end that really encompassed all the things I loved about the previous ones, and it was my PERFECT dress. They were patient about letting me FaceTime my sister in DC at work and my best friend in Europe to allow my favorite people to be there and share the experience. I didn't expect to find my dress at the first appointment, but I was SO pleased and really feel in love with the dress, shop and stylist that helped me! Thank you, Claire!

I went to Lana Addison today not thinking I’d find my dress as I’m not getting married till 2025. The stylists were so kind and attentive. They took so many notes about what I was looking for and listened to my vision! They curated multiple dresses for me to try and they were all aligned to my vision. I ended up finding my perfect dress and they celebrated with me and allowed me as much time as I needed to FaceTime family and friends, take pictures in my gown, and celebrate with champagne. They made the day feel so special and I truly felt like a bride!!

Haven't even stepped foot in this place and thankful for it after reading the owner's responses to her poor reviews! I am the MOH in my best friend's wedding and we had a visit scheduled with Lana Addison to find her dress. Before the visit an employee called to remind my friend of their no-photo policy stating you cannot take a SINGLE photo of yourself in a dress unless you purchase it. This is an unreal expectation— dresses are a massive expense and some people need time to analyze how they look and feel in a dress before making a decision. Not to mention Raleigh is a large area with tons of other options to purchase a dress. We decided to cancel the appointment and after looking through reviews we're happy with that choice. The owner is rude to anyone who doesn't give them a glowing review (even if they have spent money in her store).

Went to a 4:30 appointment and it felt rushed as the salesperson was trying to leave for the day. I didn’t feel like my opinion was being heard about trying other dresses. Also I bought the dress on the same day regardless of all this which also felt rushed as I didn’t get the chance to read what I was signing. They offer a 10 percent incentive if you purchase a dress during the first Visit that would go towards accessories. They barely had any! Also the accessories they had were damaged. So much for the 10 percent. Not the best bridal shopping experience in the least.

We were a little disappointed in our experience here today. Our consultant did a fantastic job picking the first dress for the bride to try on, and we all LOVED it. It would've been the ONE if we hadn't found out shortly after that the dress had been discontinued. This was absolutely devastating news since she had already tried on the dress and loved it.
We also felt like this was not the most body-positive experience. Other stores have been very accommodating and understanding of plus-size bodies which we didn't really feel here.
Overall, not a terrible experience but definitely would not recommend to a friend given the devastating mistake that was made :(

I called to make an appointment. They said “we don’t have a lot of plus size dresses because they are boutique store.” This rubbed me the wrong way because boutique isn’t size exclusive. However, so I didn't have to come in they named a few styles for me to look up on line. Styles were very basic and not very many options.

I had my first bridal appointment at Lana Addison and it was the best experience I could have asked for for my first ever wedding dress shopping! My consultant Shannon was fabulous and listened to exactly what I was looking for, plus some! She put me in some dresses I never would have thought of and I really did love them! I would highly recommend this bridal salon for anyone in the area looking for their bridal gown!!

I would recommend Lana Addison to anyone looking for their wedding dress. Their prices are reasonable, and the staff is lovely!

I had a wonderful bridal appointment with Katherine. She was genuine, friendly, and very easy to talk to. I felt my needs were well understood and she picked a dress that I loved more than the ones I picked myself. It was a stress-free and highly satisfying wedding dress selection process. I'd definitely recommend this experience to others!

Nightmare! I purchased a gown from this store 6 months ago, it finally arrived 2 months before my wedding and came to find out that the dress looked different from the sample. It had more pleats than the original dress. It made my waist look like a square and was not what I agreed to get, the special moment was ruined my dress was ruined. I explained to them how upset I was about this, I requested a refund. They offered to make alterations to make look more similar to the original one but I was not going to pay for something that I did not order. They said that all sales are final no matter if it does not look like the dress you agreed to purchase. On the receipt they state that the designer has the right to change some aspects of the dress but I didn't think it was going to be such a big difference. I started looking for a new dress since this store took a long time to give me a solution and answer. Thank God I was able to find a dress somewhere else at the last minute. I regret so much ordering a dress from here I would not bring my family and friends here. The dress was very expensive but the quality is not compared to what I paid.From the beginning the atmosphere is uncomfortable, I always felt like I didn’t belong there or like I didn’t have money to pay there. Funny because I went to much nicer bridal stores and never made me feel like that. This place doesn’t allow to take pictures of the gowns or even touch them! Not even the nicer bridal stores do this. At the first appointment, they give up an incentive 10% value of your dress, to use in the store but it felt like you end up paying for that incentive they just add it to the dress cost, and their prices are higher than other places, even if I wanted to use the incentive for accessories in the store you end up paying almost regular price because their prices are high. I went to a few bridal stores where the experience was much better. I highly recommend other stores like coastal knot bridal, Gilded bridal, Simply Blush, New York Bridal and groom, a&bé bridal shop, Vow's, one of the next experiences I had was White of Raleigh bridal boutique. Even David's Bridal was better than this place. I found my reception dress at Carolina Bridal World and they even ordered the dress according to my height I didn't have to worry about alterations. This was my experience. I had to pick up the dress otherwise they were going to charge me for storage. I lost more than 3,000 dollars. I hope this does not happen to a future bride. Good Luck.

Really enjoyed my experience at Lana Addison and found my dream wedding dress there! The consultant was helpful and knowledgeable. She had me try on dresses I was requesting (that met my criteria) and a few that met most of my criteria but not all and surprisingly the dress I ended up choosing I never would have dreamed of choosing!
