This past weekend we accompanied our daughter as she bought her first car. Mark Demsko ensured our daughter had a WONDERFUL experience. He was generous with his time and service and as parents it was beautiful to watch him ensure she had all the information she needed to get the best out of her purchase. Icing on the cake was when we went to the car, and it had the red ribbon bow on top. As parents watching their young 'un adulting, aware that soon we may not be invited to accompany on the big purchases and events of life, it was so gratifying to watch her get such EXEMPLARY service. It was not just a car buy but rather an assurance that our little girl's journey will be brightened by the Mark Demskos of the world. Thank you Mark, you went above and beyond

I found my way to the service department here when I had mechanical trouble with my Forester on a long roadtrip. My service advisor David was beyond helpful and was kind enough to cover the repair in full as a goodwill gesture since I was just beyond my powertrain warranty and stranded far from home. As if that wasn't enough he also set me up with a loaner car for the day. I was blown away by this kindness and it saved our family trip from disaster. Can't thank everyone at Johnson Subaru of Cary enough for their help! Great people'

I did not have a pleasant experience. I drove an hour and a half to look at a car, and to get my trade appraisal, which he assured me would be close to what I received in danville. it was almost $2000 less. Then they wanted proof from the other dealership like I was lying about the other appraisal estimate. Between that, the insane $799 doc fee , and the rushing salesmen, I just decided to leave and forget the whole thing.

I bought a pre owned car from this dealership. The alternator turned is weak, but this dealership hided this fact, and confirmed everything was good. Trying to reach the dealership for this issue, but they just ignored. I do not know much about cars, and thus decided to buy from dealership. It turned out this dealership is not honest.

Samuel provided excellent service from start to finish as I received the kind of customer service I have come to expect from Subaru! Being out of town and breaking a tail light on our new car on the second leg of a 4 legged trip was a reason for worry. Especially to a new vehicle! Sam took our problem in stride checking on if he had the part and if we had a Surbaru service by us if he didn't. He also checked the lights to make sure that they were functioning if he didn't have the part. He had it and on a Wednesday at noon, he said he could take care of my car. He showed me to their beautiful waiting area and explained it would be a bit of time but that he would do his best. While his guys worked on the back lamp, he also did a 12 point check on the vehicle to make sure that we were in good shape for our next legs of the trip. Great job Johnson Subaru! You showed caring , class and excellent customer service! Thank you Samuel!

I had 2 problems. 1 was covered by Subaru, and 1 wasn't. Scheduling was weird although I got it fixed. Oil change was changed over $300 but they refunded me $200. Avoid this place. If they refer you to Ed he's useless.

Service Department: Didn't bother to check the PCV valve as stated in the 2022 inspection, PCV valve was clogged, valve cover gasket blew up, oil all over the place. Service Manager emailed me to ask if "Everything went well", well it didn't, I emailed him all the details, never heard back. 06/17/2023: Car is due for another State inspection. After an hour, I get the news the car FAILED inspection due to front windows tint. "The Tint got darker". LMAO So the car has been there for 4-5 inspections, but all of the sudden the tint got darker. Called my tint installer who does all my tinting and he laughed as well as I did, the tint meter needs to be calibrated. Drove down the street to Jiffy Lube and got my inspection done, passed with flying colors. On top of all of this nonsense, Subaru of Cary charged me $23.75 for the emissions. (Disputing that) Didn't plan on ever buying another Subaru anyways, but now I have various reasons why NOT TO COME BACK to this dealership.

My experience at this dealership was truly the best I have ever had. Everyone there was very friendly, personable, accommodating, I felt absolutely comfortable and welcome and not pressured to buy something. My salesman, Farus, was amazing. He made the whole process so easy. I recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car! I had to bring my grandkids with me and they even have a play room for them!

Once again, Ferris, went above and beyond, his job description by, driving all the way from, Cary to North West Raleigh, a lot of sales reps could say, we are no longer responsible, sorry. I'm telling all my friends, when they are thinking of buying another car, they won't be sorry, if they ask for Ferris, he's The Best!

I can't say enough about how, smoothly and pleasant, transition from my car to the one I wanted at Johnson Subaru of Cary. From the time we walked in the door, to saying goodbye was as pleasant as it gets. The receptionist greeted us, with a big smile and sunny hello, to our sales agent Feris Elashmawy, to Darrion Underwood, final step in financing and everyone in between, just great! Sales follow-up has been outstanding! I purchased a certified 2019 Subaru Outback and had an issue with Apple CarPlay. The radio needed an update - Jonathan Foster (Sales Manager) authorized the repair at no cost to me (radio. was out of warrant). Extremely happy with their follow up!

I have been a loyal service customer of Johnson Subaru since I purchased my outback new from them in 2016. However, they have lost my business forever. My outback decided one day it no longer wanted to start and after a new battery then decided it didn't want to drive either. My first impulse was to have it towed to Johnson Subaru and get it fixed. Matt my service advisor called to tell me they diagnosed it with 2 problems, an animal ate my wiring harness and needed replacement ($2200ish) and my head gaskets were leaking so needed an entire reseal of the engine ($5200ish). With such a high price tag I decided to do some research and price around. I requested an estimate in writing and Matt he said would send it but never did. My husband and I called multiple times and left messages for him on his voicemail (which he later told us he doesn't do voicemail) to call us back but after 2 weeks still nothing. We also attempted to contact the service manager for assistance but he didn't return our call either. With some luck, we finally talked to Matt and he emailed the estimate. The estimate was a total of $8142 with over 38 hours of labor and included services we did not discuss or need, like cabin air filters, an alignment and tire balance (how would he even know we needed that considering it didn't drive). With all that said, I had it towed to a wonderful honest shop in Pittsboro that diagnosed it with a disconnected wire from the wiring harness which could be repaired, and would take 2 hours for a whopping cost of $214. I now question every service I've ever had done there, considering, I have gone there for an oil change and left paying over $900 before. My other vehicles cost about $30 to service. Now, the service manager at Subaru did call us after we left a negative comment on their survey and offered to pay the $214 but we did not take the offer. We will no longer return to them and if I could leave 0 stars I would.
