We've purchased 2 cars at Johnson, but no more. Their service department NEVER answers the phone. The voice mail says that your call is important to them, but they NEVER call back. In my case it had to do with scheduling service for a recall. First it takes OVER A MONTH just to get an appointment, but heaven forbid you have to reschedule. I tried numerous times to reach the service advisor (really tempted to post his name) but it's impossible. My suspicion on why they don't care is because service advisors get paid incentives based on the service (did you know that?), and I'm guessing they get bupkis for recall jobs. So if calling you back means no money for them, then you don't get a call. So I scheduled service with their competitor on the other side of town. So long, Johnson. Next vehicle I buy will not come from you.

I highly recommend avoiding this dealership after my encounter with salespeople who apply a lot of unnecessary pressure for the sake of making their sale. I was pleased to hear that one of their agents was no longer working there after telling me that I was “worried about pennies on the dollar” after simply attempting to get my interest rate to match what my financial institution was offering … after walking, they could suddenly match it!Moreover, they attempted to bully me into buying unnecessary warranties, and when declined, they raise the MSRP that they’d just lowered. Good thing the warranty could be cancelled!I was very disappointed in the experience here.

My overall buying experience with Johnson was positive. The salesman, Christian, was helpful and worked hard to make the sale. However, all dealerships treat you well before you buy. It’s how they treat you after the sale that’s important. On that score Johnson Hyundai is disappointing. After having an issue with my Tucson, I called the dealership last week for some information. I’ve moved and my local dealer found a problem I’d told Johnson about soon after I bought the car. When I called the dealership, I was put on a couple of long holds that no one answered. I then left a message for a service advisor who didn’t call me back. I tried back later that afternoon and again left a message on an advisor’s voicemail which was never returned. As a last-ditch effort, I texted my salesperson and never received a response. You can purchase from Johnson Hyundai but do so knowing once you drive off the lot you’re on your own.

Wonderful experience with Will and Travis. They were super helpful, responsive, and patient with any question I had. They gave you different options and customized the service based on your needs and situation. I’m happy with my new car and will definitely come back for service!

Highly recommend financing/buying from this specific location. Mike was phenomenal. He went above and beyond what I expected. Very negotiable and got a good value for my trade in and got an even better deal on a brand new car. Such an amazing team and extremely welcoming. And to top it off they don't make you feel pressured into anything and they are not pushy either. They go with your pace.

WORST CAR SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER! They've had my car for over 12 days now and I can't get anyone to answer the phone or call me back. I have left messages with the Service Manager and the General Manager and even asked the receptionist to take my number over to both and have them call me back, but nothing heard. I don't have another car to go to the shop to check on the status of my car and they've told me that they don't have loaner vehicles.

So far not impressed- dropped a car off to service dept. 3 weeks ago. Can’t get a call back from my assigned service manager- “Vinny”. Can’t even get a call back from a different service manager. Guess I’m gonna have to take time off to go up there to discuss the vehicle in person again. If you are looking for good communication and good service you may want to rethink your decision, as I am.

Over Crowded vehicle not repaired on the 1st trip , Almost impossible to talk to the Service Advisor by phone took 2 days for a Supervisor to call back and told me the issue was working when it left the mechanic, with no proof of that absolutely Horrific I love my Hyundai but getting repairs and service they are booked out months !!!Update 9/2023 I attempted to call service Mgr that sent generic reply to this review left a voicemail because his voicemail picked up it’s been over a week no return call it is very sad to say that this dealership does not care about the service of your vehicles period at this point I will never never return to this dealership and please keep any further GENERIC apologies I don’t need them! This is a honest post so be advised after you by your amazing Hyundai good luck on repairs and up keep with this location in Cary Nc.

I recently did a search for my car, make and model. There have been two recalls that I could find, and each of the recall issues have had a negative impact on my car. I have tried repeatedly to contact the service department here. I have left several messages. They will not reply. I even said "Please" last time.It's funny. They sure would take my phone calls when I was interested in buying a car from them. I made a mistake by doing business with this company. Please, be warned. I will not make the same mistake again. Disgusting business practices.I have called the number provided below. No response. I may as well be calling a wrong number. This is not only horrible customer service, it is also incredibly dangerous. In all of my years of doing business, I have never experienced anything like this. It is just sad.

Amazing experience! Tommy was the absolute best, highly recommended! He took the time to teach me everything about Hyundai and my Tucson specifically. Mark was wonderful through the whole sales process as well. I’ll be recommending everyone looking!

My wife and I had older vehicles that were giving up on us at the same time. We had blown out of multiple dealerships that wouldn’t work with us or would try to put us in cars we didn’t want. Charlie Johnson and Mark Priest made this so easy. They heard what our budget was and what vehicles we wanted. I got my Hyundai Santa Cruz and my wife got a Venue that is being delivered. Two brand new cars within budget. They worked our trades and did everything they could to make us comfortable. I wouldn’t suggest going to anyone or anywhere else. Charlie has been in the business forever and knows how to help people. That’s his aim. To help. Thank you Johnson Hyundai team!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I took my car to them three times to fix the same problem. First time they didn't even try. Second time said to come back when it wasn't raining. Third time charged me $100 and said it was fixed. It is not fixed. I'll never give them another cent.

I have tried several times in thr past week to contact the service dept by phone to do a simple oil change. THEY NEVER ANSWER the phone or return messages. Even msg left with service mgr was not returned.I tried several times to book on line and that was hopeless as well.Ended up having to go to Wake Forest.

Had an appointment for simple maintenance, got there on time, it took an hour and half for oil change and tire rotation. Guess what, next day noticed all tired have low Air Pressure!! Really?I'm a very busy person, don't have time to go all the way back there neither to drive around and find a place to to fix this. If it called good service?

***Update*** After leaving my previous review, I got a call from Jack( service department manager) who had me bring my car in immediately ( THANK YOU) and assured me that they will work on it this week and will try to get me a loaner. I hate that I had to go this route to get some help, but I didn't really have any options and hope that they stick to their word. Will update again with final results. Thanks again, Jack.Steer clear of this Hyundai dealership!!! No one from the service department returns calls. I have been calling for almost 2 weeks now, made several calls, left a message for the service manager and 2 messages for the service advisor to discuss about concerns for TWO recalls on my car, no sound from audio and something is pulling power from my battery when the car is not driven within a 48 hr window and no one has called me back! I had the battery replaced at a CHEVY dealership and still have issues with it starting up. I feel helpless and disregarded!!! Since they do not take walk-ins, I am left without a proper working vehicle that has safety issues and had to cancel a family trip to due fear of my car not starting and brake issue(one of the recalls). I guess it will take for me to get into an accident due to these issues before someone calls me back from this dealership. The first opening that they gave me for an appt was late August( an appt was made for me on 7/28). This appt was made for me by a young lady who did work not in the service the department but was trying to help me out and told me that she would ask the service advisor Jeremy to call me to see if he could get me in sooner since these are serious issues but I've never heard from him. The poor receptionist is having to hear my complaints because she is the only one who I can speak to when I call, and there isn't much that she can do except transfer my calls. I gave up my Chevy, whom I've gotten cars/trucks from for 14 years, less than 5 months ago and traded in my Malibu for a Hyundai Genesis and begining to REGRET IT!!
