There's been a few times that I've noticed very expired food on the shelves. Kind of frustrating considering the higher prices they charge.

This one is so convenient. Specials in stock, rain checks always available should they be needed. Even when the weather is crazy they manage to not get backed up at the registers. They make grocery shopping enjoyable!During Covid time check on policy for rain checks. Sometimes there are mild sticking issues so be patient.Still consistently enjoyable, whether Stone bridge, Sunset Lake Rd, Tryon village.

Went to get coffee creamer on Christmas because google maps said this was the only place open. You were not open.Blatant laziness, and a big waste of a Christmas morning.

First experience at the deli and very upset. Placed a sub order for 3pm, gave them an extra 30 mins too so I could swing by and grab it quick. Got a notification saying it was ready, but when I got there they showed me the ticket and that it hadn’t even been made yet. After being 30 minutes late. They just lied and wasted my lunch and gas, no apology. Never coming back here.

I’ve shopped at this store for years. I love the selection, produce, meat dept. etc. I know where everything is….. But, tonight I vowed to never return. The new self checkout process is a nightmare. Any extra hand movements you make while putting items in your bags will trigger a “theft” alert, which means you have to wait for a cashier to come clear the alert.Tonight I had 4 bags of groceries to checkout — approx $200 worth of stuff. You might wonder why a rational person would go through self-checkout with that much stuff. Great question! I didn’t want to, but had little choice. There were only 2 cashiers in the store, and each of their lines had 4-5 people with completely full carts waiting to check out. So, off to the self checkout I went. The new system triggered an “assistant override” 6 times. That means I had to stand there and wait to catch the attention of an HT staff person 6 times before I could leave. So much for “self checkout.”This has been my experience the last 3 times I’ve shopped at this store.I doin’t know if it’s a labor issue, or a deliberate management decision to understaff the “regular” checkout lines so that customers are encouraged to go through self checkout. Regardless of how we got here, the resulting customer experience is abismal. The last time I shopped at this store, the self checkout showed me a video of myself making “suspicious” movements. I felt like an accused shoplifter. As someone who has regularly spent over $200+ per visit — for the last 5-10 years, by the way — I assure you that’s not how a regular customer wants to feel. So, it was nice while it lasted, Harris Teeter on Tryon Road. You were my “grocery home” for nearly a decade. But, now I’m going to Lowes Foods, Wegman’s, Trader Joes, Food Lion, Publix or literally anywhere else in the Raleigh/Cary area. I’ll drive out of my way to find a store that doesn’t make me feel like an accused criminal while I spend my hard-earned money.

Had a bad experience this afternoon with these lazy cashiers, the tall boy was eating chocolate when I came to him to check out, He put his finger inside his mouth and then start scanning my food he didn't have his name tagged either. What is going on with young generation?

I was looking for a healthy lunch option and had heard that Harris Teeter had salmon on their hot bar. This store does not and since I had already wasted my time traveling to this location I went ahead and got something else from their bar. I got a little bit of about half the options on the asian bar. I got about the same amount of food that I would get if I had ordered at the chinese restaurant and paid $20!! And, the food was not good at all. I have had the asian bar at Food Lion and the food is actually half way decent and only costed me about $10. But this was the worst asian food I have ever had. So I wasted $20 on food that was terrible. Never will make that mistake again!

The nastiest grocery store I have EVER been to!!! CHECK EXPIRATION DATES ON EVERY SINGLE ITEM! Employees and management have gotten extremely lazy these days. There is no reason why I get home to see snacks that I purchased for my 11 month old son are OVER A YEAR OLD! THE EXPIRATION DATE IS APRIL 18 2022!!!!! ON TOP OF THAT, WHILE I WAS SHOPPING FOR PRODUE; there were 5 packs of blueberries left, literally 5 containers. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM HAD MOLD!!!! But yet there was an employee restocking the fruit! HOW TF DO YOU THAT? At that point, I should’ve turned around! It’s just sickening! Groceries are too expensive for these TEENAGERS AND LAZY ADULTS to be playing with the food!

Disappointed in the pharmacy. Gone downhill. Used to be top notch. Now, rude and overworked. Half the employees don't want to be working in the store and can't speak ENGLISH, OUR NATIVE TONGUE!! Make them learn!!. Thank God, looks like new management trying to get back to normal. Some of these kids are just plain coddled brats. Some adults too!

This used to be a first class Harris Teeter location but sadly no longer. The produce section is dirty, unorganized and not great choices as in the past. The shelves always need be stocked. At one time you could go in this location and felt appreciated as a customer. Employees were once extremely pleasant and friendly. They no longer have baggers so the cashier is doing everything. Some of the cashiers are unable to understand english. During my last visit two employees in the produce section are discussing issues and whether they will be okay or not. This store is truly a hot mess! We are wondering what has happened for so much negative impact at this location. Were they bought out? Is there new management? Very disappointed, will be looking for another location to shop at.

Poor quality veggies that have been getting worse over the past few years - forget buying herbs or leafy greens there, as they're frequently starting to decay. They keep discontinuing basic items, requiring me to visit other stores to finish my grocery shopping. On top of all that, it's still one of the most expensive places to buy groceries. I used to prefer Harris Teeter for its quality, but it seems like they're seeing how much cost cutting they can get away with (while charging more) before people stop going there altogether.

It's not a huge deal, but if you advertise a 12 pack of cookies and it has 11 cookies, that's not the best. Just seems like a fairly easy quality control fix when they are packaged in house.

Very poor service. We went there a few weeks ago for sandwiches and was served by the employee of the month. Not much of a personality. We were there tonight for the same thing to order sandwiches. No one was at the deli, no one was at the pizza stand. I did ask one woman if they were still making sandwiches. She said yes and walked away, never came back. We waited 10 minutes and had to leave and go to Walmart were sadly we received better service.
