I would like to speak out about an incident that happen yesterday at 5:07 pm on E Chatham St, I was making a left turn onS Academy St, when a man was crossing the street to Gurkan’s downtown auto repair, he was yelling and swearing at me and disrespecting the American flag that I was flying on the back of my truck, he walked into the Gurkan’s repair shop with the mechanic it seems the mechanic knew the guy because he sat down with him. I do support my country and my troops! don’t ever disrespect me or my flag!!

Was visiting my brother for the holiday and this place was highly recommended. Got home in Atlanta and find out the Alternator had never been replaced after I paid $585 for parts and labor. Never will use them again!!!

Good mechanics, this place was built in 1939 & Cary is about to bulldoze it down to make an oyster bar.... Sad Cary won't save any old buildings.

I took my son's car to Gurkan's since it stopped running. I was sure the fuel pump was bad. They checked the car thoroughly and determined the car had bad fuel. Checking with my son he confirmed a day before the car stopped running he filled gas at a pump, but the pump was extremely slow (clogged by something?).They explained there is no reason to replace the pump and explained how to treat the fuel.Excellent service, trustworthy business and honest people.Bravo!

It's refreshing to find an honest mechanic who does and talk like mechanic. I was surprised to find one inCary right where I live. I have had few visit and always had gotten an honest diagnostic of problems with fare and reasonable estimate. I have seen few reviewers who had problem with their attitude, I find their attitude better than expected. They are not sales people with fake smile, they are mechanics and have great attitude when you give them professional respect

I have had few visit and always had gotten an honest diagnostic of problems with fare and reasonable estimate. I have seen few reviewers who had problem with their attitude, I find their attitude better than expected.
