Great selection and extremely friendly service every time I visit. They picked out a couple of my all time favorites that I love to share with other wine lovers such as Alto Moncayo Granacha. I go out of my way when I can to buy from them because of the gems discovered through their friendly service and expertise.

My wife and I live in Austin and she'll come w/ me to Cary to visit my parents, sis, and her family once/year while I come out quarterly to help my family out. My wife's a Certified Somm. (CMS) and works for an importer/supplier now so I'm alwaus trying to scope out places to take we her to (or avoid) on my visits by myself. Great Grapes is a keeper. Very Knowledgeable help (a friend here lived in Italy and was very gracious with his time too) and I manages to strike gold on 2 finds that won't break the bank but are simply those lucky price point flavor profiles you can get for $18-$25/bottle...a real steal! The shop is clean, organized, and has a nice little tasting section--the 2 bottles I walked out with were both a result of the store opening a bottle of each for me to buy a glass, so that's an above and beyond effort--not to make the sale--but since I stated I was just in to try a glass or two, it was simply to see me walk away pleased with my sampling. 5 stars!!! I'll be back with my wife this summer.

This is such a great spot and I will definitely be back soon. Great selection, a neat and tidy store, and wine tastings. Denise was so welcoming and hospitable, and she is also so knowledgeable and helpful. She helped me pick out wines for people with different preferences and made sure I knew where to find what I was looking for. I could’ve stayed in that store for hours talking to her. She is such an asset to the business and look forward to returning.

Great first-time experience shopping here! I was looking for a bottle of champagne to give as a wedding gift and both Denise and the other sales associate were so extremely helpful. Denise even offered to gift-wrap the bottle and it was a beautiful presentation. 10/10 would recommend!!

I have been coming to the store for years. Even when I have not been to the store for a period of time, they make me feel welcome like a long lost friend. Helpful on questions and knowledgeable. Always good sales going on and special tasting events. Recommend to all levels of wine drinkers.

We orderd a special bottle of champagne from these guys for our neice's 50th birthday celebrations. Its not often you get outstanding service but we need to give a huge shout out to Gene and the team for not only delivering but beautifully packaging the gift.
