I couldn’t have asked for a better company to help renovate part of my childhood home, turning it into an absolute dream come true. From start to finish, they were professional, attentive, and truly understood the sentimental value this space held for me. Every step of the renovation felt collaborative—they listened to my ideas, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made sure to honor the original charm of the house while incorporating modern touches. Each day when the team left, the work area inside and out was virtually spotless!
The team’s craftsmanship and attention to detail were impeccable. They worked diligently to preserve the character of the home while transforming it into a space that feels fresh, warm, and inviting. The result is nothing short of perfect—a harmonious blend of the past and the future. Thanks to them, I now have a home that not only reflects my personal style but also keeps the essence of my childhood alive. I am beyond grateful for their dedication and hard work in making this dream a reality. We even created a new color for hardwoods “natural - paty” !

We are thrilled with our new kitchen. Luisa at DHD invested a lot of time developing three or four different designs over several months before we settled on the basic layout. Luisa also provided suggestions for plumbing and lighting fixtures which completed the final look.
We took down two interior walls, relocated plumbing and electrical lines, and installed two new windows. Everyone in Luisa's DHD crews was extremely professional, polite and ALWAYS cleaned up at the end of each workday. The office staff kept us informed of when work was scheduled so we always knew what to expect. We were impressed with the excellence of all aspects of the job, but in particular, the cabinet maker/installer Erasmo is a perfectionist. We would highly recommend DHD for any remodel project in your home.

We had a kitchen renovation by DHD and it turned out beautiful. Luisa did a great job designing our kitchen, I didn't think it could look this great. We would not change anything about how it turned out. The staff are very nice as well. Thank you DHD.

We are so pleased we decided to work with Dream Home Design of Cary to remodel our kitchen. Our circa 1997, closed off kitchen was just impossible to work in, but I really had no ideas on how to make it better. Luisa @ Dream Home Design came up with a design that was open, full of light, and easy to navigate while cooking. The team executed it to perfection & we couldn’t be happier with the end result. In fact, we loved what they did with our kitchen so much, we had them redo our primary bathroom. We now have an amazing kitchen & gorgeous primary bathroom & closet. DHD did an incredible job with our primary bathroom remodel. They do high quality work, and were diligent in getting the work done while they were in our home. Every worker that came to our home was courteous, professional, and kind. Luisa was super helpful in helping us decide what pieces and colors go together and we couldn't be happier with DHD's work. Only issue we encountered was with the home office: for example we had a design meeting, which is after we paid a 50% deposit, we took off work to be able to drive to the office and figure out what tile, colors, and hardware we were going with. Unfortunately, we found out 10 minutes before that their calendar system 'lost' our scheduled appointment and they had no other availability for a month later. It was tough after paying a significant amount of money and taking off work to have to push the timeline of getting things started further out and taking off work again. There were also other miscommunications with the home office - wrong paperwork sent out, forgetting we would be out of town for certain dates, etc. But we know that DHD is managing a lot of major projects and these things can happen.

Luisa and Jesus and the team at DHD did a beautiful job on our kitchen remodel! Luisa’s unique combination of GC and Designer superpowers were a welcome surprise — she helped us see a layout possibility for the remodel that we wouldn’t have thought of otherwise! The project leads were incredibly friendly and professional, always on site when work was active and they did a thorough cleanup at the end of each day. Luisa and Jesus were accessible and leaned in when we needed them. Above all, the quality of their work and craftsmanship was top top notch. We’re very glad we worked with DHD on our remodel and would do it again!

We had DHD renovate our kitchen and laundry room and it turned out absolutely amazing! They removed a wall, pantry, replaced interior and exterior doors, redid our laundry room and more! They made a stressful process very smooth and easy for us! Their workmanship and attention to detail is incredible, their staff is so friendly and they clean up after themselves and you wouldn’t even know they were in your home. When I met with Luisa, I knew she was the company I wanted to hire to do the work! They made our dreams come true as you can see from the photos! You will not be disappointed if you work with DHD!

They were great to work with and had great communication. Contacted us daily to provide the schedule of planned work for the following day. They also kept the work space very clean. Everyone I worked with was professional and exacting. They have the most beautiful wide selection of tile, flooring, and accessories. Everyday they let you know when they were coming next and they cleaned up everyday! The bathroom is just gorgeous as well as my kitchen backsplash. You will not be disappointed with their service. We hired dream for a full bathroom renovation and then a half bathroom renovation. They did a beautiful job. Luisa was great to work with and helped us pick up finishes in-line with our preferences. All hardware was handled on my own through Ferguson. Every single person that came to our home while working on the project was very professional and kind. Their work was thorough and they paid close attention to detail at every turn. The only reason we didn't give them five stars was because of a plumbing issue in the beginning but this wasn't the fault of Dream. Jesus was always quick to come over to supervise his team and answer any of our questions. Diego was especially fantastic, very patient with all of our questions and very attentive! We hope to work with them again on our next project in the future.

From a friends referral we decided to use DHD to remodel our master bathroom. We could not be any happier with the end result. Their crew was very qualified, worked efficiently, and kept their work area very clean..
