Recently purchased Brooks Ghost 16 …….., after trying on other brands. Alex, in the Cary store was super nice, very patient. Not many young people are patient with older customers. So thank you Alex for a pleasant experience.
Cheek out was also very helpful for I had a few different gift cards to apply.

This is review for Dick's sporting goods and their poor customer service in general. I purchased SOLE F63 treadmill in this store back in 2021 January. I also purchased a 4 year warranty service plan provided by third party company called Asurion along with treadmill. Treadmill stopped working after 2.5/3 years due to electrical wiring issue inside circuit board. Asurion company denied my claim to repair stating that its physical damage due to maintenance issue. I don't see how an internal electrical circuit wiring issue is considered maintenance and physical damage. Asurion stood by their decision to deny my claim and worst part is they plainly suggested me to cancel the warranty service plan, if I want. When I spoke to Dicks, asking them to see if they can do anything as customer courtesy, one associate first said that he is going to initiate 15% of treadmill as refund, just as courtesy and even agreed to send this as confirmation on a written email. But, I haven't received anything for almost a week. When I again called Dick's, another associate plainly denied the courtesy refund offer saying that there is no any record of their associate agreeing for that. Finally, I just got prorated price of117$ as refund from Asurion out of 355$ I paid for the plan. Even though I never took any advantage of the plan and they denied my first claim. Overall, I paid more than 1300$ for something that did NOT last for even 3 years and came first no use when required. I would never recommend Ducks for any fitness equipment and ABSOLUTELY NOT recommending ASURION warranty service plans.

Great customer service. Luke at the crossroads store went above and beyond to help me. He searched for the store that had my size for a Nike sweat hoodie, he found a couple of locations. I chose the Garner location, he called the Garner store to keep it on hold for me. He is an amazing young man.

on Friday night we stopped to find a new pair of soccer cleats for my Daughter. The associate at soccer that asked to help admitted he was not able to answer our question, but was very polite.We then went to footwear for her to try on regular sneakers. The initial associate was very polite. At 8:58 he went in to the stockroom to find 2 sizes to see what fit best.I was outside with our son at this time and my wife was on the other side of the footwear section. Another associate returned with the two pairs. Our Daughter is only 13. He said " you either need to take both these to the sales counter now or we can hold them for you to try on tomorrow" Unbelievably crappy behavior let alone customer service. My wife came over by that time and he said we closed at 9. it was 9:01 and repeated what he said before. She said let our daughter at least try one pair on, which she did hurriedly. They bought that pair but they are not a good fit and we will likely return. Making what will be our last visit ever to this store. The associate should be fired and replaced by someone with people/ customer service skills. The goods have gotten cheaper and the service as well. And yes a rotten apple should be pulled from the basket before it ever comes in contact with the customers.
