I've recently grown my interest in using CVS and I have used this location on several occasions. I've printed photos and created greeting card photos here. My go-to Beauty products are inexpensive here. I've always been about purchasing many other items here that have my trips here convenient. The staff is always pleasant. I wish the hours were longer here!

I have been struggling with my medication for several months now, and my experience at this particular CVS has been extremely disappointing. The staff has been unhelpful, condescending, and unwilling to provide clear explanations. Today, when I called to inquire about my prescription status, the man on the phone immediately suggested I use their app instead of contacting them. Although I had already checked the app prior to calling, my prescription was not listed in the pharmacy section. Not to mention, before being connected to an employee, the automated system tries to access it for you and it had no luck. So it was truly my last resort. When I mentioned this, he insisted that I was looking in the wrong place. Despite his condescending tone, I disregarded the interaction and proceeded to ask about the pricing after presenting my Co-Pay card (the original reason why I was calling) The employee kept providing the previous price and failed to address why the Co-Pay card wasn't working. Even when I asked if they accepted the card, he confirmed they did, but continued to interrupt me when I tried to explain the purpose of my call. After repeatedly questioning the issue with the card, he finally reentered the numbers, yet the price remained unchanged. My frustration stemmed not only from the Co-Pay card not working but also from the fact that I was treated disrespectfully while simply seeking assistance. This is not the first instance of poor customer service I have encountered at this CVS. Managing my condition as a 20-year-old can already be stressful, and attempting to navigate these challenges independently for the first time only adds to the difficulty. It shouldn't be too much to ask for some empathy and respectful treatment, rather than being made to feel like shit whenever I ask a question.

My husband and I came to this location after we had a bad experience at the Kildair Farm location. We were looking to return an item after the other location had used our coupons without our consent. Kanas had helped explain to us that they had made a mistake. Mary (manager) came up to the front to assist and she offered to do a refund due to the inconvenience - even when the other place used our 40% coupon. She was super sweet as well as Kansas and we won't be going to another location again. Thanks for all the help ladies !

I have had the worst experience with this pharmacy and would not recommend. My doctor sent in a prescription for me and I got a call saying the pharmacy was calling the doctor for clarification. When I pressed the button to speak with someone, I was kept on hold for 15 minutes before them saying the doctor prescribed a different medication than I had been taking. I then called my doctor to ask what was prescribed and it turns out the pharmacy was just trying to fill with the generic form of the medication but didn't understand that enough to tell me about it. Once I called the pharmacy back again to tell them to go ahead and fill it as I was desperate, I was put on hold for another 15 minutes and we arranged it so I would have a month's supply filled. This morning I got a call from the pharmacy saying they had to call my doctor back again about the prescription and I wasn't given the option to speak to someone. Once again, I got another call this afternoon. I was put on hold again and once the call was picked up, he took my information and put me on hold before telling me the same issue about the supply of medication that I worked out with the lady the evening before. Without warning he put me on hold for another 5 minutes before the pharmacist answered the phone call. She did not ask me for any information so I began to tell her the issue but was VERY rudely interrupted by her asking for my birthday despite the fact that she hadn't asked for it before. She would not let me continue to tell her what happened but explained the situation with the rudest tone as if I was the problem. I tried to explain the fact that I was being asked the same question multiple times and had received multiple phone calls and was trying to make sure my medication was being filled as I needed it very badly. She just kept saying that it was being filled and not paying attention to my concerns. I plan on transferring my medications to another location as soon as I pick up this medication. This is not the way to treat your customers.

Terrible. Went to pick up prescription and was told it was not ready and that it would take another hour. As soon as I pulled out of the parking lot I received a text that my prescription was ready! If the guy had checked when I was there, I wouldn't have had to make a second trip.

I'm not usually the one to write a review, but this pharmacy (Tryon rd location) regarding 2 of its employees/pharmacists have been nothing but rude and unprofessional. I'm a new member of UHC and was hopeful that CVS would be a good pharmacy, but that has not been my experience. Firstly, every time I've called, it was near impossible to get anyone to pick up the phone. Last time, I waited half an hour for this: "Hi thank you for calling CVS pharmacy how can I help you" -"Hi, I came in earlier this morning. I was wonderi--" *CLICK. For multiple reasons, I don't think we were disconnected. About a week later, I called again to relay important info regarding a prescription that had already been filled at my old pharmacy and how to transfer it over, but the lady interrupted me asking for name and birth and immediately putting me on hold after I gave the information she requested. When back on the phone, the info I was trying to relay originally to no surprise came back up and she said "well you didn't tell me that part" in a very rude tone to which I replied "I was trying to before you put me on hold." And she said "ok." Again, the tone was exceptionally cringey. The pharmacists I've experienced in the past all have shown the utmost professionalism and kindness. But Tryon rd 100% changed that. I will definitely be switching pharmacies. Fingers crossed the next location will be better.

I waited in line for about an hour for my vaccine that I had an appointment for but the pharmacist was all by herself. She did the best she could.

Easy peasy COVID vaccinations.CVS has opened up COVID booster shots for anyone as long as it has been at least 6 months since fully vaccinated. Their online scheduling system is super easy and will provide you with a list of nearby pharmacies, which booster (Moderna or Pfizer) is available, and available time slots. The online scheduling system allows you to select up to two vaccinations including COVID, Shingrix, flu, pneumonia, etc. You may not want to schedule more than one but you still have the option. I was able to get an appointment on the weekend and had almost no wait. Everyone I saw in the store, every customer and employee, was wearing a mask.Rock on, CVS!

I've used CVS for years to fill my medications and never had issues until switching to this location. Every time I go to pickup medication I just know I will run into an issue. They take forever to fill medication once they receive it and always seem to be out of common medication for weeks at a time. I would avoid.
