Team here at Davis Dr Cary NC location is either short staffed or just not prepared to manage the volume of this growing city. There always long queues and employees for some reason always sound frustrated. I was here to pick up my prescription today & I was told that they will deduct the loaned tabs from my prescription. I didn’t recall when I asked loaned tabs so I asked the pharmacist to check their records and confirm to which the answer was 90 days back. My feedback was that since I am on 90 days prescription then the adjustment may have happened when I picked up my last prescription 90 days back. Pharmacist may have forgotten to update their records is also a possibility plus if this is so critical then why was the adjustment not done 3 months back when I borrowed tabs before prescription being approved. As stated earlier, the entire team was just rude and didn’t want to understand my concern. I will certainly look for alternatives.

The pharmacy tech gave the incorrect dose dispensed at 7.5 of a semiglutide pen instead of 2.5 because they didn’t have 2.5 in stock, our doctors office confirmed they sent over 2.5 … how and why is CVS providing such inadequate training & shows how incompetent the tech and I believe Amber (not Taja the main lead pharmacist) the pharmacist was that day. Because of this mistake, my mom has been fatigued, sick, having heavy headaches, throwing up for 2 days straight, had not had ANY Appetite. I’m baffled since CVS that day had no customers in the car lane and no one in front of me, ready to go to lunch. Either they are burnt out or incompetent, this is not fair for patients.

I walked in and the young lady acted as if she seen a ghost didn’t acknowledge my presence or ask if I needed anything simply just made eye contact and looked away twice as if she forgot she was on the clock. The cashier at the front counter was nice but the ladies in the pharmacy need customer service training.

Try to pick up a prescription from pharmacy at 3:30pm that my Dr says they have called in, but miraculously they can't locate. Call Dr and they are confused but they call it in again and I get text at 6:00 that it is ready, but I am in meetings until 7:30, I race over to get there at 8:04 they close at 8, and can hear them talking as they are closing shutters. I ask for some help and they stone wall, are nasty and dismissive saying I can file a complaint (and I did). I moved my stuff to this location a month ago and this is the third and final straw ALREADY..??? Embarrassing

I went into the store this morning at 9:30am. There were no employees in sight. Thankful there was a self check out because there was no one to check out. I called and the phone rang for 5 minutes with no answer from anyone. I'm not the type of person to share a bad review but this could be bad for the company. I'm sure I could have walked away with $100's worth of product and no one would've been there to do anything. Not a good experience.

The pharmacists here are beyond useless. At Walmart, when I got a prescription filled for the first time, they would take the time to talk to me about it – how to take it, when to take it, what precautions to take, any side effects I should let my doctor know about, etc.Not at CVS. Even if you ask to talk to the pharmacist, they still don’t tell you anything about it. They can be replaced by Google. Also, they are rude and condescending.

HORRIBLE!!!! RUDE!!! CONDESCENDING!!! Will have my prescriptions moved to another pharmacy, this one on Davis Drive, the pharmacists need to learn how to interact professionally with customers, we are here for you to provide a service, not to be talked down to. The drive thru is also very slow, no one is ever there, I've waited for 30 minutes just to pick up medicine a few times before today.

The best way to explain is to write the scenario up like a script.Pulled up to window. Another guy behind me pulled up to the next window. He was taken care of first. That didn't bother me, stuff happens and the clerk probably didn't realize. When she gets to me...Me: I need to pickup prescription.(holding up empty bottle). All the info is on here. Her (hard to understand, I had to ask her twice): What's your name and birth date?I give it the info to her and tell her that it's not for me though. It's for my dog. Her: You have no prescription.Me: They told me YESTERDAY that it was ready. Her: Sorry.Me: Look up my wife's info maybe it's under her name. But again it's for my DOG.Her: Give me your wife's name and birth date. (I do that) Sorry, there is nothing here for you.Me: There has to be. Can I just give you the prescription number? It's on this bottle. It's for my dog.New person comes to window: What is your name sir? ( I answer). Then say ma'am this if for my dog. I have the prescription number.New Person: WHAT IS THE DOG'S NAME? (I answer).New person (going to register then returning to the window, quite angrily): WE DON'T NEED YOUR NAME WE NEED YOUR PET'S NAME! (she storms off)Original Clerk returns: That'll be $28.30.After 20 years as a customer since they built that CVS. Sigh. I'm done as a customer.THE END

I’ve used this pharmacy on Davis Dr for almost 5 years. Pharmacist Amber has always been thoughtful, helpful, professional and very kind. She has the ability to multitask, remember my name and greets me as if I’m her friend in the calmest way, even when her and staff are super busy. When I call with questions only a pharmacist can answer, every one of them have taken the time to speak to me. Thank you all so much for going beyond my expectations.Stay well,Jackie N.

Bottom line: This CVS Pharmacy location has a few good things going for it. Finding a positive customer service environment, a professional/thorough pharmacy, and general convenience...I like this particular CVS location. The Deets:I've had to use this CVS more frequently in the last couple of years, and I think they deserve some Yelp love. I like that when I've come in the door many times, I have been usually greeted by the cashier/service person in a pleasant way and they offer to help you...of course, if they are not already engaged with helping a customer at the register at the moment. They don't have to do that but in doing so, it makes a good impression/customer service moment and I am sure they are trained to do so. The pharmacy itself has been professional, thorough, good with time estimations, and pleasant to deal with also. In using their delivery service during COVID-19, I find it convenient using the CVS phone app as well as timely (you can get free delivery within 1-2 days using USPS Priority Mail or choose same day Shipt delivery for a fee at the time of this writing). It is convenient that other items are available beyond a normal pharmacy but as you would expect for a large chain, it leans more towards convenience store type pricing of course. Still for the positive customer service moments and solid pharmacy outcomes, I like this CVS in my neighborhood.

The pharmacy is good, they are always quite helpful and informative and will let you know about what coupons can be applied to reduce outrageous prescription costs. Photo services was quick and come out good. What I don't like is that all non-pharmacy items are so insanely marked up, a big gallon size of soap was over 100% more than what I pay at Wal-Mart across the road.

Waiting with sick baby twins to fill a prescription. Half an hour later Ms Desai decides to inform us that the medication is not available at her pharmacy but - no worries- only 20 minutes away another CVS will help us. She's very sorry for the inconvenience.
