The store's customer service for picking up items in store from online was a horrible experience. The woman literally laughed when I called the store asking the eta because I hadn't heard that it would be ready for pickup after 24hrs. She said inventory was incorrect and it'll be in the store in 2 or 3 weeks. OK, no prob. Then 8 hours later I got a cancelation for no reason. I called the corporate line and they agreed that it shouldn't have been canceled and ordered it again for me and made it so it'll be delivered to my home. The corporate line gets 5 stars. The store gets 1 star.

We are fans of World Market, has quality furniture, variety of food and drinks from many places of the world. This location in particular the team that works there are all very nice and helpful.
We purchased on some furniture online and pick it up there. Never have had an issue and been buying world market products for many years.

I really like their selection, especially the international food and drink.We've never had a problem there until recently. We bought two bags of cookies in early December, opened them on Christmas, discovered they were stale and went to return them with the receipt on the 30th. We were told that the store manager doesn't allow food returns. But half the store is food? Also, the website AND receipt both state that World Market allows returns within 60 days with a receipt...I don't understand. I think we're going to have to find a different international store, this whole thing just feels icky, if customers are expected to follow the rules, why isn't the store following its own rules? We just had something like 5 cashiers and a shift supervisor staring at us saying they couldn't help us while we were standing there awkwardly with our receipt and stale cookies...horrible.

I am frugal so the prices are not their strong point at World Market. But the inventory is very different which makes finding a unique gift easy.You can go with soaps,candles it candy to keep from going broke .Some rec .include the nightwear because the naturally dyed cotton is so very very soft.A less expensive gift are their scented soaps and candles .They often have Clearance items in the ladies' clothing .There is a good variety of the bottled flavorings that coffee /tea shops use.There are 3varieties of coffee candies e.g.My Favorite item are the laser cut Mid-century Modern Holiday houses.They made the cut ( hee hee) to be rec.for Christmas decor in several magazines and they deserved it .Just go to EBay and see how much they are now being re-sold for .

I generally have been please with items I have bought here.I purchased a vegetable paella. When we cooked it, using only chicken broth, it had an overwhelming taste of chlorine.I brought the actual container with me to the store to show them it was inedible and the young clerk laughed and said, "We can't return something you cooked already."I explained, with all due respect, how would I taste it were it not cooked, and find it tasted like chlorine?They refused to provide even a store credit and Nicole was rude to boot.Thank you, but this treatment to not stand by a product you cannot use, has convinced me to shop elsewhere.How many others are on the shelf like this?
