Changing this review as it pains me to do. The main reasons for this change is the lack of retention, communication and inclusion. Overtime you can tell in the energy and faces of the teachers that their light and once joyful faces have turned to exhaustion and disconnect. Don't get me wrong, there a some great teachers but for how much longer? A child will get more familiar with their routine and teacher and then the teacher is gone. For many children their performance will change and so will their excitement for going to daycare.

In just the six months of my little one being enrolled, Children’s Lighthouse has played a major role in his development of his social skills and introduction to a functional classroom setting. Ms. Azarya and Ms. Tykesha have been pillars in the success of helping him to become acquainted with understanding the expectations of being at school and how to interact with his peers. I especially enjoy seeing Ms. Tykesha help her students learn how to safely go from one classroom to the next in the mornings helping to establish a safe routine. I am truly grateful for the teachers at Children’s Lighthouse and their passion for children exudes in their day to day interactions. After reading a few Google reviews I noticed one in particular that I felt may have just been received by myself but in a recent review within the last year another parent expressed the same sentiments. After enrolling I have noticed a significant and noticeable decline in the enthusiasm of the staff at the front in the mornings. While it is indeed not a dealbreaker it is something I’ve noticed on multiple drop-offs; often times they may be invested in their own conversations that they won’t acknowledge parents or children as they enter the building. I’ve also went out of the way to ensure that I acknowledge their presence but I’m often met by very abrupt responses, or none altogether. Once again it isn’t a dealbreaker but it is something observed by multiple parents. But all in all I love the atmosphere in the classroom settings.EDIT: Revising this review to note that while I have noticed an increase in enthusiasm from a vast majority of the staff I have also noticed significant passive aggressiveness from the facility’s director via email and other communications after sharing my experience. I have been contacted by a member of the admin team to have a conversation regarding my experience and hope this will help to bring focus on the reason for me being apart of Children’s Lighthouse family. I still love the facility but I am not fond of the negative change.

My kids love this school! I do as well. Constantly do interactive activities for the kids, noticeably see the growth in them as time passes. The teachers are nice and cater to each child from what I’ve seen.

Children's lighthouse has superceeded all our expectations. Having recently moved to the area, we were hesitant about our daughter adjusting to a new environment, however, at children's lighthouse of Cary all our fears were forgotten. Our daughter instantly felt a connection with staff. Their caring attitude and love was evident from day 1. Our daughter comes home every night telling us about Mrs. B, and all of her new friends. It's hard to leave your children but when you know they are having fun and are in good hands, it helps tremendously. I cannot thank them enough for helping us adjust to our new home and community.

My kid loved the school. Ms. Fanny and Ms. Tayeksha are her favorite teachers. I really like the way they receive my kid. Initial days were little rough because of frequent change of staff within the class. But it’s settled now. I wish camera setup is brought back which helps us to monitor our kids.

All the teachers & employees are so caring and nice. Loved them from the very first visit. Our kiddo is well taken care starting from academics to games & sports. They take care of each & every children so well by maintaining their lunch, nap times perfectly. Excited to see my kiddo graduating there. Thank you CLH, West Cary!! Our favs are: Ms. Kourtnei, Ms. Kaiya, Ms. Meghan, Ms. Lateefah, Mr. Steve & of course Mrs. Thomas.

We love it here! The Pre-K teachers, Ms. Bernita and Ms. Ron'Asia, are wonderful. They are very well rounded with learning and play.

My 3 years old son has been in the children's lighthouse west cary since February of this year. The staffs are very friendly. Both of his teachers( Ms.Ty and Ms.Stephenson) are very professional. It was the first time for my son to attend full-day preschool, and they gave him a lot of care. He began to like preschool life gradually. We are so glad to choose the children's lighthouse west cary.

Our son has been at the Lighthouse since only 7 weeks old. He has been treated with great care and has reached and is continuing to reach so many milestones! His teachers have welcoming arms and communication skills are amazing. He has made so many friends he plans to continue growing with. We love getting picture updates of his classroom activities such as sensory activities , art work and even special enrichment’s like music class and now soccer shots ?. He recently turned 2 and moved to a new classroom where he was welcomed and helped adjust, his 2 new teachers are super sweet and I can tell he looks forward to going to school. The admin staff is always so helpful and our baby loves all 3. Thank you to his teachers and the admin staff for all the love and care he is receiving

My daughter loves Children's Lighthouse of West Cary. She started when she was 3 years old and now she is 8. She loves the educational, friendly, safe, positive and fun environment. She enjoys her interactions with her age appropriate friends and staff. We ALWAYS feel welcome and inviting. She is always looking forward to the before and after school care as well as the Summer program. She is allowed time to complete homework assignments with staff assistance, if needed. I would recommend this school to any parent that is looking to invest in a worry free, safe and fun environment for children of all ages.

I have 2 girls that attend programs at Children's Lighthouse and they have a wonderful facility run by a caring and professional management team as well as several excellent teachers who have stayed well beyond the average one-year turnover rate in the childcare industry.

I am happy with the Children's lighthouse staffs starting right from scheduling the tour of the day care . This is the first preschool she is on , and I could see excellence on everything .

We’ve had a positive experience with Children’s Lighthouse in West Cary. They always greet us as soon as we walk in. Our kids love going which is a big difference from their last daycare.
