David worked on the ac compressor on our accord. He was honest and quick turn around regarding the repair.
We also picked his mind about some vibration issues in our other car. He gave us his advice and the service was fantastic.

I wanted to express how sincere and honest this shop is.
I have a 2015 Toyota Camry with 175,000 miles on it
I originally had my vehicle being serviced at another shop and there was a noise which sounded as if it was coming from the A/C compressor. They were going to charge me $1300 for the compressor and luckily the shop manager did not trust his guys to complete the job so he gave the car back.
I had brought it to Cary Automotive and David (The owner) wanted to listen to it. After a few minutes and playing a bit under the hood he seemed to think that it was the tension belt and with the burning of the oil, the sound was coming from the engine.
He added an oil additive as he suspected the sound was due to the belt along with the burning of the oil (2 quarts every 3,000 miles)
The belt and the additive cost a total of $475
He showed me the PVC pipe that had seepage and stated there were no leaks. The additive along with changing the belt has stopped the noise under the hood. I have to bring it back to replace the pipe and he said that should only cost around $90.
Basically for $565 ($735 less than the AC Compressor) the vehicle has been fixed.
It is hard to find good honest mechanics in the area who will not pull a wool over your eyes. David is willing to investigate to find the root of the problem as opposed to just making an assumption and charging more money for an unwarranted fix.
This place deserves more than the 5 stars as moving forward this will be the only place I take my vehicle too.

David was very helpful and had my car fixed shortly after I dropped it off at the shop. He was responsive and kept me in the loop about what was going on with my vehicle and followed up after to make sure everything was still running smoothly. Definitely recommend!

My AC compressor broke and I expected my car to be down for a while, but they had it fixed by the following morning. They were very fair with their pricing and services. I will be back the next time my car needs servicing

I got a note in my car “check emission system” and as I have no idea what that is I was trying to find the place where someone can help me.
I got to Cary AutomotiveRepair and Service after two other services declined to check my car due to long waiting list for the appointment… I was very upset as this is my only car and I need it every day to take my son to school and after-school activities…
David offered me to check the car to make sure I can drive it while I am waiting for the appointment!
At the appointment the work was done well and on time! A few days after they checked on the car if everything is ok with it!

I love this business. David is so kind, and he has worked me in last minute when I really needed it. His prices are very, very reasonable and he seems like a genuine guy.
