Carpenter Farm Supply Co. is a century-old store, a time capsule and museum-like experience that transports you back in time. It has a labyrinth of hardware, tools, and everything for your home, garden, or farm, with a surprisingly good selection for excellent, low prices. The staff are genuinely caring, very knowledgeable, super friendly, and always helpful. With creaky floors and a pot-bellied stove, it is an absolutely amazing and very cool place that beats the big box stores. This continuous operation since 1885 is a place you gotta go.
I wish I wondered into the back sooner, I would have saved myself so much drive time. They have a surprisingly good selection of tools and hardware for excellent prices.
