Does not stand behind their workmanship. Ordered a set of MK7 control arms with solid bushings installed. BFI says its their bushing and they come pre installed. It is nice not to have to press them in myself. Not 4 months later, the main rear bushing came pressed out of the control arm. The original arms lasted 7 years. So much for a product that claims "In addition to the added performance benefits, the solid rubber bushings will last longer than the original OE style as they cannot tear and fail as the factory design is prone to doing. If your car has anywhere near 50k+ miles on it, then you will surely benefit from this simple upgrade!" Was told this was not covered under warranty from a supervisor even though they offer 1 year for defect and workmanship. So with the $300 for their control arms, shipping to hawaii, installation, and now new control arms from another source, shipping to hawaii again, and installation I am out quite a bit of money for trusting BFI. I should have just pressed the bushings in myself instead of trusting BFI's expertise. Nothing like tossing a new set of control arms in the scrap bin. If you are going to buy anything be aware there is no warranty, even on vital suspension components. Order from a different supplier if possible.

Excellent quality parts. Have purchase a shift knob and custom shift boot and both were beautifully made. Highly recommended for these products.

Great quality shift knob!! Im very happy with the quality! I thought they forgot to ship it out at first but they saw my review and explained to me that it takes 14 - 21 days to make. Great customer service, sorry about the negative review at first.

12/10 stars to Patrick, for sure a lot of help. Also big thanks to BFI for the coolest shift knobs and paddles for my MK7 DSG. Patrick was for sure a big help and highly recommended. Also, he has the coolest MK2 in North Carolina. If you're looking for cool parts for your interiors such as shift knobs and paddles hit him up!

I ordered from germany and Patrick was super helpful. Bought a Nappa Leather shift knob and I love this thingQuality is extremely high. Be aware that you have to inform customs online in the EU beforehand if you order directly it saves you one trip...

Patrick Lambert from BFI supported my issue and worked hard to research + develop a solution. It was a great turnaround because he went way beyond what was expected. That was exceptional customer service from a knowledgeable & personable staff member. It truly pays off when you work together with people who share the same passion for cars. Highly recommend Black Forrest Industries for not only their ease of doing business but for the quality of their products. Shout out to Garrett who also helped me pick out a high quality leather shift knob (weighted) + recommended the matching Napa leather shift boot, and I couldn’t be more happy. Patrick Lambert over at BFI helped me find a replacement adapter for my shift knob, then after I placed and order and mixed some info he corrected it easily and communicated this quickly. Loved the communication and how it made everything a breeze thanks again.

I purchased a BFI shift knob for my mk7.5 golf r, which is something I’ve wanted since buying the car, and the entire experience was great. The product it’s self is beautifully crafted and easy to install. The weight of the knob is more subtle than I expected but feels perfect while going between gears. Truly feels made for the car. And on top of that the service provided from this company is superior to that. They got the part shipped and to my door within days and shipped it with a small surprise to go along with it. Awesome group of people who make up this company! They clearly take pride in their products and relationships.

i ordered mounts for my mk7 gti on June 13th which i have confirmation on. June 14th i have shipping confirmation which it states "label created" as of June 17th. The sales person i have been talking to said get with fedex about the order. i have and fedex said they never received the package. i just have this feeling im getting screwed. i have emailed the sales person to go and start a claim because the seller has to do that through fedex. at this point im pissed. it says on their timeline for package times it should only take a day since im 4 hours away. complete bs. i purchased these items through affirm so im having affirm guide me through the process also with getting money back. i hopefully sent an email to the owner of black forest industries also. we will see what he says about the situation.

Ok, had to do this review cause BFI seriously has one of the best customer service teams, and not to forget their outstanding product. Ordered a set of engine and transmission mounts and had a little issu. Called them and fixed the issue sent me another part no questions asked. Actually use BFI quite a bit for a lot of my VW aftermarket parts and they're always top qualit. 10-10 would recommend them.

I ordered a catch can kit for my car. When I tried to install it, I couldn’t figure out the fitment of it 100%. I spoke to Garrett in service and he was able to get me a solution to my concern in less than 24hrs. These guys are great with their customer service. 10/10 would recommend over and over again.
