Stephen was great and very helpful with the closing of our dream home. He walked us through step by step of the loan process and answered all of our questions through the month. Steve was hands down the best part of the home-buying process. If you are deciding between him and another, go with Steve! My husband and I were first-time home buyers and had endless questions. Steve was incredibly generous with his time and guided us through the process seamlessly. He was proactive, never had to be managed, and always went above and beyond our expectations - qualities that are rare nowadays. To complicate matters, my husband is in the military in a unique training situation, and we were moving from out of town, so there were some hurdles along the way for our VA loan. Steve went out of his way to find solutions and to work hard on our behalf. We 10/10 would recommend him to our friends and family. We really appreciate your help, Steve!

Superb service! We financed a second home with an extremely short timeline. Great guidance was provided on mortgage options and during the approval process. Anyone who has applied for a mortgage knows how complex the process can be. Our mortgage application process was completed well ahead of schedule.

Steve was really great! I talked with 4 other brokers before getting to Steve. I have an 800+ credit and was buying a house well in my price range. I was fed up with the high rates being quoted, and finally got a reference for Steve from my financial advisor (so I knew he was good).I started my loan application with Steve because he had the best rate. I say "best", but Steve was nearly 1% lower than anyone else. Total blowout in this market. I was skeptical (it sounded too good to be true), but had my CPA and others look over the loan. It was legit.I worked directly with Steve the whole time. We texted, called, emailed. I have a complicated financial situation so I really appreciated the direct contact. And he was on top of it all.My real estate agent like him.. I liked him.. We had everything finalized and ready to close.. I feel like I got the best deal possible.. So yea, I would recommend him to anyone!Side note: I locked in at 6%. Steve literally locked my rate in at the lowest it could have been between contract to close. That was great. But my favorite thing was that he didn't use the same tactic as others. The other 4 brokers all said "You're going to re-finance this house. We will get you in at 7%, and you can blah blah blah."I did not appreciate others trying to make the sale based on the unknown. Steve did the best he could with the deal on the table. He capped his commission to get me the best deal possible NOW. No one knows what the market will do. But now I'm locked at 6% and the re-fi option is always there down the road.

Steve at 7 Locks Lending was wonderful to work with. He took the time to explain the process and made sure I understood. He followed through with all details, sometimes into the late evening. When there were any questions, he was very helpful in leading me through the process. He was always pleasant and easy to work with. I highly recommend him.
