We had a good trip to Family Dollar Sunday. The store was clean and tidy. The young boy check out clerk was very prompt, polite, clean and attentive. GOOD JOB team!!

Clerk that was checking out this afternoon approx. 230 pmWas on her phone(Bluetooth in her ear)..Kept talking on phone call entire time. No receipt given.so I ask for receipt. She pointed to receipt in machine & kept talking on phone(bluetooth)..where is the customer appreciation.

If you want to work here, don't. If they don't like you they'll tell you your background check hasn't come in for 3 weeks and then if you call them again, they'll just hang up on you. And that's the hiring manager doing that.

It's already bad enough that the shelves look like a bomb went off and you have to wait for a cashier to see you to check out...when the cashier comes up, they could at least be friendly and not act like you're a bother. I said thank you 3 times and got no response each and every time. I'm sorry you're having a bad day but being nice could turn your entire attitude around!!! I asked for my receipt (which should automatically be handed to you) and she snatched that receipt off..once again, like I was a bother. I think they act like this because it's a small town and this is the only family dollar around.

The entire team there is always friendly and inviting. I think this starts at the management level and how she train her people to respond to customers. The store is always neat, clean and well stocked. Staffing is an issue though but this is something I've seen company wide. From my observation management is working 6-7 days a week. These people gave no life beyond family dollar.This is not healthy for any employee of any company and need to be address at the highest levels of the company.
