Place is not wheelchair accessible in the front and the back entrance that could be accessible says 'Employees Only'.

This & That Gift Gallery is a one of a kind treasure in down town Carrboro! They have everything from one of a kind locally made art pieces to unique items for your home, kitchen and life. Specialty gourmet foods, jewelry, books and the sweetest children’s items too! There’s always great music playing and a fun local atmosphere. The owners Joy and Paul could not be kinder or more thoughtful people. It’s a pleasure to hunt for gifts and treasures in their shop! It’s a truly special place to pop in and take your time while looking at all the amazing goodies they offer! If you’re looking for a special gift they will help you find it and wrap it beautifully too!

I wish I could give five stars because everything in there is so cute and fairly priced. But every time I go in, staff is so rude and cold that it makes me uncomfortable. You won’t be greeted or even acknowledged - unless you look like you have money to spend. I will never go back.

One of those great local shops where you can find a gift for anyone on your list. Selection is diverse, and prices are reasonable. The folks who work here are incredibly friendly, and they gift wrap for no extra charge!

So much cool This and That - I got a lovely block color leather bag - made from upcycled leather scraps. But my joy was crushed by the $360 ticket (including $100 fee for using a debit card not cash) that I then got from the PREDATORY BARNES TOW COMPANY at Carr Mill Mall - just for walking across the street to see your shop. PLEASE put a sign on your shop warning customers they can't park in the lot across from you. And please, the city should address these unfair practices.

You know that special experience you long for, when you want to walk into a store and find one of kind treasures you didn't know you were looking for but just fit you perfectly? When you want a gift for someone and don't want to go to the mall but rather have a personal and meaningful search yielding the PERFECT item for the occasion? This is that store. From gorgeous glassworks and pottery to hair ties, beaded jewelry, garden art and bottle openers. Hand stained wooden utensils in beautiful colors, books, handmade cards, musical chimes and puzzle boxes. This & That have done the most wonderful job curating a space that will fill you up to be there. Can't wait to visit again.

What a LOVELY experience! I've got to say, the 2 amazing employees left us with smiles, laughter and knowledge. The quality of products with that Carrboro southern charm was the icing on the cake. If you haven't visited this store, PLEASE do! Will be back to visit again from WPB Florida.

What a cute store! So many adorable things to gift someone special or keep for yourself. I bought a brass bee paper weight and a felt billy goat ornament. I will definitely be back in soon for more!
