“Wonderful community that assists those with mental illness and substance abuse in residential living, job support and resources, medications, etc. They are able to provide a temporary job for you in lawn care or housekeeping until a more permanent position is found. The staff truly care about their clients and support them every step of the way. If you are willing to put forth the effort it takes to improve your circumstances, this is a great option to look into.”

“I cannot express enough gratitude for Brandon and Tyler at Blue Hill Event Center at Extraordinary Ventures. Brandon was fantastic - he worked closely with me in the weeks leading up to the party to make sure every detail was just as I envisioned. “We love the JCC's Camp Shelanu. Our child is super picky about summer and school's out camps but the JCC staff and activities offered are far superior to other local Chapel Hill and Durham camps. My child learned to swim during summer camp here and quickly became a strong and avid swimmer thanks to the instructors. We will return over and over because my child is making friends, lifelong memories, and learning new skills in a diverse and inclusive environment.”

“Last evening, the League of Women Voters of Orange Durham and Chatham Counties held its first in-person Annual Meeting since 2019, and could not have found a better venue for the occasion. Manager Brandon was a pleasure to work with in every step of the process. Executive Director Lisa Kaylie also deserves a big thank you for helping us close up the beautiful space. Both are great advocates for their mission of creating a safe and fulfilling workplace for people of neurodiverse abilities. We fully support them and look forward to coming back.”

“Wonderful worship service! Amazing Baptism Service. I witnessed Pastor Tate speak into each one of their lives and it was like 25-30 souls. But he knew each one personally. This is a wonderful church. Great team of servers, ushers and workers all while smiling. We had CHURCH! So glad my niece is under his leadership. Pastor Tate and Lady Tee working their part of the Vineyard, Nice worship experience!”

“Mestra Tigresa is a kind, strong, knowledgeable and talented capoeirista who leads this beautiful community! I have known her for over 10 years and my respect and admiration for her is immeasurable. I'd highly recommend you try a class and/or bring your kids to learn with Sina de Capoeira!”

“I've attended three different events here so far: the best classical music concert I've ever heard, a practical course on gaining more efficient movement in your body, and an elegant fundraiser dinner. Driving into the facility, you get a regal feeling. There are nice trees and plenty of space. The building itself is beautiful - new and clean with nice design and modern decor with a hint of military ambiance. It's a first class venue with a ballroom and bar area that would be perfect for weddings, corporate gatherings, or major parties. I highly recommend it!”

“First : Thank you Carolina Meadows for hosting Chatham County Senior Table Tennis games. I only seen a small part of this facility, but what I did see was amazing. They have a good size area to work out with all the equipment. A large size room for activities ( we played the Table Tennis in that room ). As I was walking in, I seen tennis courts. The place was very expansive in itself. The staff was excellent, friendly, accommodating, helpful, and whatever nice word you can find for a person. Parking is excellent also. With the area near The Governor's Club, you have a great setting.”

“This is a 5-star location for the triangle (not necessarily compared to Goodwills outside the region). Great, but small selection of items. Really good selection of skirts and men’s outerwear. I wish the clothing was organized by size instead of just by type. There are no price tags on the items — they’re just counted by type at the register. Will return next time I’m in the area. The other locations in the Triangle are not as nice as this one.Very clean dressing rooms with mirrors on both walls! Plenty of hanger hooks in each room.”
