The pearl and the petal designed and coordinated my daughter’s wedding and they saved my life! From the gorgeous floral designs, styling and set up, DESI and her team managed all vendors, including 2 caterers, rental companies, shuttles, dessert bar, lighting, and provided a timeline that made it all come together. Desi did an absolutely amazing job with the flowers for my wedding! I sent her some inspiration pictures with ideas for what I wanted, and the arrangements that she made were so much better than I could have ever imagined. When people see my wedding photos, they always compliment the flowers and talk about how beautiful they were. She was amazing to work with and I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone.

The pearl and the petal did all the flowers for my wedding! Desi and I’s interaction the day of was minimum as I was busy, and I had no wedding planner. She went above and beyond and everything turned out beautiful. Highly recommend.

I’m finally getting around to sharing my experience from my wedding 9/21/2019. At first I was happy that Desi was nice and easy to talk to because I had so many questions and I had not been to many weddings to know what to do. I'll preface this by saying I've never written a review in my life, but as a consumer and a business owner myself, I think it's my duty to warn others. Stay as far away from this woman as possible. At the time I hired her, I told her I'd be purchasing log slices and votives to go along with my centerpieces. She responded with "I have those for rent" to which I replied, "oh ok, awesome!" We also talked about including certain flowers and excluding others. When I reviewed the contract it stated a certain number of centerpieces and I thought nothing of it. The number was correct and I assumed it included what we spoke on. On the day of my wedding, I received photos of centerpieces that were literally accent flowers at best. Horribly small with barely anything to them. They looked absurd sitting on the tables. No log slices, no votives, just these chintzy things slapped on the table. When I confronted her I was told it was a "miscommunication" and that she didn't include those things on contract. She then suggested I have someone go to Hobby Lobby (my wedding was on a Sunday and happening in just a few hours) to fix it. Even though she's local. She blew up my phone making excuse after excuse. I arrived to a bouquet with dead plants. Not drooping, dead. The boutonnières were horrendous, we picked the least awful of the three for my husband and trashed the rest. I sent her photos of the dead flowers and she responded "you could have had your coordinator pick them out". Most of the flowers we discussed were not included. When I asked her about a particular one, she told me it was out of stock. Never consulted me on replacing it. My hairdresser who was present for her absurd phone calls said "I really wish I knew that's who you hired, I would have told you to stay away, she was a no show for our event." I believe it because I practically had to beg her for a response on the most basic things in the weeks prior. "Don't you need a table count, do you want contact info for venue?" I never even asked for a full refund. At no point did she offer or even ask how she could make it right. I waited to see how she'd respond to the photos and she just made excuse after excuse and basically said it's everyone's problem but her own. Convenient being as she was paid on full. My cousin literally redid every single one and saved the day, but she shouldn't have had to. I'll sum it up by saying, believe all her one star reviews because they're on point.

I had planned to have Desi make flowers for my wedding. We went over my ideas more than a year before the wedding day. When Desi showed up with my bridal bouquet I was in tears at how beautiful the arrangement was. She decorated the church as well as the aquarium and everything was what I wanted but 10 times better! Her talent is amazing and she is the sweetest to work with! I would recommend Desi to anyone wanting flowers for any event!

Amazing venue. The owner is amazing and so willing to acomodate to make her venue your own. Such a personal touch. The old floors are awesome and the chandeliers look great. Wonderful location that seems to look amazing different and beautiful every time I go by. Her floral is amazing and prices are more than reasonable for the awesome work they do.
