11 Boardwalk #110, Carolina BeachWe've been to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk so many times but never stopped in to try the gelato. SO glad I stopped in this time. The young lady working the counter was so friendly, she greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. The store is bright and clean, they have items/souvenirs for sale. The gelato is beautifully displayed and the flavors are clearly marked. They offer gluten-free, dairy-free and sugar-free options. I chose the chocolate oreo for myself and the sugar-free strawberry cream for my husband. I was taking the gelato back to our rental unit, so she offered full-size spoons or tasting-size spoons and napkins, and asked if I needed an insulated bag. The gelato was smooth, creamy and delicious. We will definitely stop back in again on our next trip to CB.
