Went in yesterday the manager was rude as hell and acted like he just aint wanna be at work at all‼️Tried to over charge me for some stuff and didnt dare even attempt to fix it and the price was literally next to the register smh like how can u expect to have good employees with a horrible manager whos customer service safe to say this store needs to fire everybody starting with the managers my worst experience ever and i used to work at dollar general‼️

This was the worst Dollar general for customer service I have ever experience. I am on the island a lot meaning Carolina Beach and this has to be the rudest customer service people that work here. The employees are so rude. I will never go back into this Dollar general again management. You seriously need to work on customer service!

not even a star just got back frm that store.clerk had to close store at 5:30 I was rhe last custoner.told me she's been wrkn 13 hrs without any help.prices have double,and if you dont pay attention like I dd they charge you twice for one product.have to go romorrow to claim my refund.bc she was so overwork

I was visiting for vacation and came into this store to buy a beach umbrella. The white woman manager basically yelled at me when I was walking to the register that the umbrella was not refundable. There were no signs saying the item was not refundable nor did I see her tell anyone else that their seasonal item was not refundable. She even had the nerve to tell the cashier after I had paid to write non-refundable on my receipt. I am sure this display was only due to the fact that I was the only black woman/person in the store and she assumed I'd use the umbrella and try to return it. Just shameful that black people still have to deal with such prejudice in 2022. Dollar General needs to do a better job training or screening its employees. I have filed a complaint with the company and the North Carolina state attorneys office.

Stock the shelves... lady that works there showed me the stockroom it was packed, went back 3 days later ,I looked it was still packed. She said I could go through it and see if I could find what I need that was nice,but I have a job.
