These folks helped me with a short move of a household's worth of items. Rick kept in good contact and was able to accommodate the date I needed. They were not only punctual; they were early. I had some big old family furniture which they handled with great care. Lots of boxes that they put in different rooms according to my directions, even with the picky request that the content markings face outwards to help me settle in more easily. And they were darn quick. My real estate agent recommended them; and I was very pleased. Thank you very much!

On January 30, I arranged with Rick Stacy to pick up two different sets of chairs I had bought at auction and deliver to me in Virginia. He told me every week for 6 weeks that he was picking them up “next week.†Today, on March 5, I requested AGAIN a delivery date and again he deferred to a vague date in the future. I then requested that he give me a firm delivery date or I would consider the chairs stolen. He now will joy provide an address so that I can have another shipper pick them up. Do not do business with this man or this company.

Asked for a two hour delivery window and this is the response I received. Would never use again. Will be contacting Restoration Hardware and canceling order tomorrow.

Rick Stacy was supposed to pick up two sets of chairs for me in late January. For six weeks, said he they would deliver them "next week." When I wanted the chairs back, Mr. Stacy would not would not provide an address for me to have another company pick them up. Dishonest and unreliable.

I'm extraordinarily disappointed in the service or lack thereof from this company. I purchased a sofa at West Elm in Asheville and this was a third party transport service that answered the phone, gave us a price and agreed to pull our sofa from the showroom within two days of purchase. Interestingly enough, more than a week goes by and we assumed the sofa was safely in the company's warehouse, awaiting more similarly-located deliveries to fill up a truck to come to the triad area. West Elm calls the following week to inform me that the sofa is still on the floor and that they have a $25/Day storage fee past two days. As one of the previously recommended third party transport companies, I'm assuming the owner knew of this policy and failed to take it into consideration. Totally get that it's not financially worth it to bring one item all the way to Greensboro but communication was piss poor past the initial conversation and agreement of procurement. So, after realizing the sofa was still at West Elm after 9 days, we were assured by Treasure Transport that it would be picked up that afternoon. Nope. He did finally pick it up the following day. Fast forward to this week: we communicated via texts that we needed the couch this week (3rd week). No return response. Finally, it became apparent that this company had no intention of keeping us abreast of updates or even getting the sofa to us in a timely fashion. Once bitten, twice shot because the owner pitched a fit at our concern and returned it to West Elm at our request (so this is TWO unnecessary trips and TWO unnecessary opportunities for damage) and not to mention, a huge headache to West Elm. Long story short, we had to rent a Uhaul, make yet another drive to Asheville and then hire movers to do all of these things we were promised. Maybe Treasure Transport is good locally but I would use ANYONE else for anything out of the Asheville area...unless you want to deal with a bunch of empty promises and communication disregards.
