“Fedex Freight depot is well-managed. Fedex Ground is evidently a different story altogether. Have shipped many large crates with this Fedex Freight depot over the years, and had a much better experience than with UPS freight. Never any problems. Fedex Ground in Mills River seems to have a chronic problem performing their basic services, for whatever reasons. They've held an expensive crate of mine for over a week now, and I pray it isn't destroyed. Looking at the reviews, I see I'm not alone in this experience. But Fedex Freight is great. Go figure.”
“I wish people knew that Fedex Ground can't do ANYTHING about the drivers. The drivers are contractors from a different company and do not listen to Fedex. They vape, smoke, spit, in our facility and do not really care. The people who work IN the facility, who sort packages, and put them onto trucks work incredibly hard and are usually underappreciated. Remember, if your DRIVER is causing you issues that it is not the actual fault of Fedex ground employees.”
