They are one of the BEST I have every dealt with. Not only did they do their work EXTREMELY WELL but were happy to answer any of my questions....and they were ALL cheerful. I was also very impressed with how much they cared beyond their actual invovlment. They understood and anticipated my ongoing concerns and were helpful with recommendation and leads related to the work. Their driver was parked at lowes today in the trailer only spaces, after unloading his cart he dumped it in the other trailer stall. He didn't strap down his load then proceeded to cut off traffic on Patton before entering the freeway.Very unprofessional behavior.

Kim Bowman and his ServiceMaster of Buncombe County crew were excellent in every way in responding to the water damage in our home. Their early and quick mitigation response prevented further damage and made repairs easier. The ServiceMaster personnel and the outside personnel whom Kim employed to do various parts of the repair work were careful, competent, and thorough in what they did. They were all extremely pleasant to have working in our home, and we felt that they all treated it as they would want their own homes to be treated. Our roof started leaking in a recent storm and we had a different cleanup service quote us $2300 for clean up and repair. We called ServiceMaster for a second opinion and I'm glad we did! After a few hours work and only $500, our roof was fixed, the mess cleaned up, and our ceiling repainted. I'm a big fan of their honesty and work!Service: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

Luckily they were able to come to vacuum up the silty water in our basement within 24 hours of calling. Very glad for that. My primary complaint is that all three crew members were unvaccinated. When asked to wear masks when working in our house, they did not have any and needed to dig through their first aid kit. Their supervisor let me know he too was unvaccinated and later returned with a mask. Very disappointing. I do not understand why they would not be concerned about their own health, their families and their customers. Also they did not take credit or debit cards as payment and when pressed, could not give an estimate of the cost. I had to throw out a number. Also they asked us to make arrangements so they could have access to retrieve their equipment in the morning of the second day, after a day and 1/2 of fans and dehumidifiers. Arrangements were made and communicated by calling their office. They did not receive the message and instead they came back in the late afternoon and charged us for an extra day. I brought this up and no offer was made to adjust the price.Service: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

I would never hire Service Master again. Suggest you pass as well. Although they were prompt, and cleaned up the water issue, they were not forthcoming about the total clean up charges and the high cost of "fan rental" for the remainder of the remediation. Make sure you get a total cost and breakdown of charges and estimate for their work. When I questioned their charges and aged the invoice for 30 days, Kim ran to the courthouse without a warning or phone call to slap a lien on the property so he could collect the full invoice without discussion. It is unfortunate that the legal system protects the trades but not the homeowner.Service: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

I have never worked with a construction/service business that is as responsive and professional as ServiceMaster. Their ability to respond quickly to EVERY circumstance that we've encountered mitigated further damage and inconvenience. Every single question or request that we've made has been taken care of in a timely manner. I've never experienced a home disaster before and didn't know where to turn or what to do. They are a Godsend. I want to say heartfelt thanks to each of them, and hope I don't leave anyone out. Kim,the Pres; Chad, who can take care of anything and everything; Mel, Garnett, Andrew, and Patrick, who are so professional and great to work with. They all are Superstars.
