Everytime I’ve come here they gave me great prices on things and have always been fair. Not recently… the last several times I’ve been by, it’s been an absolute joke… same folks too… it’s a shame but I will never be bringing my business back to this establishment…. I wanted to get my husband the gun of his dreams, and when I went into the shop, they did not have it, but without any reservation, the owner went and ordered that gun that he wanted in black and in silver and kept them there so that my husband and I could come in and he could pick out, which ever one he wanted of the two before the owner put them out for sale. When you talk about honest, good people in the pawn world, you’re not going to find very many, but the people here are awesome. They’re honest they’re fair and they are the ones that you really want to deal with.

I went to check out their gun inventory about 6 months ago and picked out a rifle that I later learned was about $200 cheaper anywhere else. Maybe the guy could tell I wasn't price savvy on firearms, or maybe they just don't know themselves. Whatever the case may be, I'm never going back. I feel cheated for sure.

Really nice people little upset I was lied to. Told the guy up front I’ve shot a lot of guns but didn’t know specifics but with them being nice trusted them bought a gun they said it was one thing and how it was a 1200 gun I bought it for 580 later asked for them to tell me what series it was again because it didn’t say, guy told me 100% was the long range hunter but specs say long range hunter has 26” barrel this one is 24” did research it’s a switchback can buy it brand new for 550 from sportsman warehouse either they where mis informed or they played me either way won’t trust them again take my business elsewhere

Great place and great people. Real down to earth and very helpful like family ? when u walk in and don't hassle u when making a purchase. Me and my wife was stopping threw coming from Tennessee and stopped and grabbed a bite to eat and was browsing the GPS for other things and saw them online went on down the road to check them out and was impressed with there gratuity and we was talking back and forth and had spent more time talking than purchasing but we finally made a fire arm purchase and was pleased will go back again ? ? ?

I went into this place other day looking for some old action figures or wrestling stuff. I didn’t find what I was looking for but the folks that owned the place were really nice. I am in the fire arms and noticed that they had a decent selection, so I decided to a take look while I was there. The gentleman behind the counter was pleasant and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable nor was he pushy. He let me check out a few of them too. I will definitely go back there when I have some extra cash ?.

I've shopped here for over 20 years, and though I often just go to check out what cool Guitars and Guns n random oddities like Swords they may have, they are always courteous, kind, helpful and fair on thier prices.. And during the ammo shortage and Covid-19 pandemic, they have kept thier ammunition prices absolutely fair when they have anything hard to come by such as 12g Buckshot in stock. They are great,down to earth folks whom have ran a friendly and honest buisness for as long as I can remember. And the owner has helped me out by letting me get a lil cash when I was hard up,for things he didn't really even want to buy/pawn. They are great folks, and the ONLY pawnshop I ever buy anything from around this area... I won't call them out by name...but several other much more popular, bigger pawn shops in the Asheville area never price items anywhere near thier actual value, and have been price gouging on ammo since the very beginning of the shortage.. I always feel welcome, and know I am getting a fair price from Pawn World. They are good people doing honest business.. just as it should be!
