If I could rate them a zero I would. We have been a Nationwide customer for 55 years with both home and automobile. We received a letter recently informing us our homeowner policy was being canceled because we had two claims in three years. The claims were totally unrelated. One was a brokenpipe coming from the hot water tank and the other an ice maker line. Not only did Nationwide cancel our policy but entered our name in a data base whereby other companies did not want to cover us. We found additional insurance and have canceled Auto as well. The new auto is $600 a year less for the same coverage. Nationwide only gave us a 6 month policy at a time whereby this company gave a year policy We are 74 years old and we're upset. When we phoned the McKinney office we were told the owner did not talk to clients. We were never late on a payment and this is how we were treated.

Over 5 months ago Nationwide referred me to Safelite to have my windshield replaced. Safelite replaced my windshield but they were unable to recalibrate my eyesight system like they were supposed to do. Safelite referred me to Subaru to have them recalibrate the system. I contacted the McKenny Nationwide office to check in with them first since the recalibration from Subaru would be an additional cost because Safelite was unable to complete the initial job. The local Nationwide office said they would reimburse me for the cost of the recalibration. Upon taking my car to Subaru I was informed that Safelite had damaged the internal components of the eyesight system, and that the entire system would have to be replaced. Since then I have never received the initial check for the cost of the diagnosis from Subaru. My eyesight has not been repaired or paid for. McKenny's office attempted to work with Safelite but were incompetent and unable to produce any results. The McKenny's office even asked me to work with Safelite because they were unable to make any progress. I contacted the national Nationwide office multiple times and was told that an adjuster would be getting in contact with me. I have never been contacted by an adjuster. This type of treatment to a customer is beyond ridiculous. Where is the accountability? I will be filing complaints with the BBB.

I had accidentally thrown away my bill and Absolute Insurance sent me and email and called me to make sure I got my payment in on time so my policy didnt cancel, GREAT customer service!
