Huge shout out to Mountain Power Performance, Alexis Giese and his guys and gals.After two shops and one of which was just tossing parts at it (on 3rd turbo within 6 months) I reached out to Alexis and he never batted an eye to correctly diagnose the issues at hand and get my truck straightened out. My only regret is not bringing it to him sooner. Professional,prompt,knowledgeable,honest…..I could go on and on. If you guys or gals need any diesel assistance Alexis is your guy!Thank you all. In my opinion yall are the best

Wow is about all I can say. This is hands down the worst customer service experience ever. I had a bad experience the first time but gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to try them again. The lady on the phone is a awful at customer service. She literally told me to go somewhere else bc I asked how much a starter cost and said she's never had someone ask that before. I typically would have told her how I really felt but I stayed calm and attempted to once again over look her sorry attitude but she turned it up a notch instead. I feel sorry for anyone who has this person in their life and highly surprised that she can function in society on a daily basis. Needless to say, I'll be spreading the word.

Me and my wife were traveling through the Candler area on vacation when our 2005 6.0 decided to have the dreaded hot no start (luckily was just a bad IPR sensor). The guys over at Mountain Power Performance were very quick to respond to my messages. They got my truck in to get it fixed and back on the road after only one day of it being down. I will definitely recommend these guys to all my 6.0 friends that travel in and around the Asheville area if they need work or repairs done to their trucks!

Never have one problem with these guy's.Whether it's upgrades, or standard maintenance, they get my truck in and out quick.The work is always top notch and I'm never disappointed.Good people and good mechanics

I seldom write reviews but I am absolutely compelled in this situation . . . While driving through western North Carolina our work vehicle (Ford F-550) broke down. After evaluating the vehicle at a local Ford Dealership it was determined the engine had to be replaced. MPP provided an estimate and navigated the complicated procurement process dictated by my employer. Heather and Alexis were outstanding to work with in their own right. Heather in the front of the house procuring the parts and keeping everything on schedule and within budget. Alexis providing the expert advice and getting the actual work done with a high degree of professionalism and pride in quality workmanship. Cannot thank MPP enough for the way they handled our 6.7 liter Diesel engine replacement. Job well done.

Glad to finally find a shop that is honest and trustworthy. I took myF250 6.7 Powerstroke in for what one shop said needed a new engine. Took it to Mountain Power and after about 30 minutes of testing, they came to the conclusion that I just needed a new injector. They walked me through the entire process of what they did to diagnose with paperwork to prove the tests that they did.They had me fixed up in one day. They will be working on all of my trucks from here on it. 10/10 would recommend getting your diesel worked on here.

We were traveling from Florida through the Asheville area with our Ram3500 DRW and a Truck Camper when our DEF system malfunctioned and started the 150 mile countdown to 'limp mode'.We called several Diesel repair shops in the area but Mountain Power Performance was the only one that said they would try to work us in. We arrived at their shop around 4:00pm and Alexis immediately took the truck back and did some troubleshooting while we waited. He identified the problem and told us he should be able to get the part and repair done by the next day. Sure enough, we got a call 3:30 the next day and the problem was solved!I cannot recommend this business strongly enough. Their customer service was fantastic and they went above and beyond getting us back on the road in record time. If you're in the area and need diesel service, call these guys!

i wanted to write and say a huge 'thank you' to Alexis and this shop for their work on my 2007 F250 6.0. I had blown the turbo boots off while towing through Asheville and the surrounding mountains several times. We were in town visiting family and only after Alexis suggested a new solution with a bracket to the alternator did this keep the boots from blowing off repeatedly under boost. With this in place and new boots, we finally made it all the way back to Texas with no other issues. This is a quality shop with integrity that knows diesels, not only would I not hesitate to recommend them but will take my truck here for future work when I return to the area as well.

Tyler is a bold face liar. No other words for that punk. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING HE TELLS YOU. Salesman with an attitude no yet. Work is shoddy. Really it’s not worth my time to explain. Enough of it had been wasted already.
