The guy that work night say the lottery machine cuts off at 10pm my pick 4 number came out I was pissed cause u stop selling pick 4at 1045pmand you can’t get scratch off after 1030 with 1emplyee all 24 hours stores you can buy scratch offs all night you just can’t cash them in that’s where a store makes there money in lottery and I play all the time depends $100at a time went in the store the other night at 1130 he say he has counted the lottery so I can’t buy any scratch off I am a coustomer that comes in all day buying lottery so I drive to hotspot on Sweeten creek to buy lottery I live on the mile straight he’s lazy why would you count the scratch off before your shift is over yet he counts the scratch off to early if you open 24 hours why he can sell all night and count them at shift charge when he’s getting off you are loosing a lot of money because he wants to run out the door when he gets off in the morning I no it only takes five minutes to count so why not sell scratch off till his shift is about to change I’m not the only one fills this way if things don’t change I will call Raleigh lottery head quarter exspecially when my pick 4 number came out I was mad as ….. it was 10pm and he lied and said the machine cuts off at 10 pm I brought it to the manger attention and she told him but it went in one ear and out the other he just want listen and stop selling So now I have to take action and call Raleigh not to say my pick 4 number fell cause he lied and said tge machine wAs cut off I still have the text to one of your employees to tell them I send 60 a day on my number day and night and hundred of dollars on scratch off and I have to drive 30 min to get my number cause he want sell lottery cause he’s lazy and want to count them in when he can do it 30 min before his shifts is over I lost money when my 3125 fell and he wouldn’t put my ticket in at 10pm just wanted to see if you new about this problem at this location candler

The change machine at the laundromat next door stopped working. My husband came here in hopes to get $5 in change. He told them what was going on & asks the first woman, she pulls open the register and says yeah. Then the other woman says "FIVE DOLLARS?" "WE CANT GIVE YOU 5 DOLLARS IN CHANGE" Even though they had enough. She was rude and inconsiderate. I don't recommend going here especially if you need change.

I was just discriminated against cause I was in the parking lot too long. I went in to use the bathroom. I can't believe that how rude that lady was. I was on the phone talking to my mom so I don't drive distracted. Wow what a rude lady

The store clerk at this store refused my son a cup of water. He had 35 cents to his name, she told him a cup costs 59 cents. It was late, like the am hours, he was dirty from working on his broken down truck down the road, walking, thirsty! She told him he didn't have enough money to purchase a cup. This clerk was horrible. He is a person!! I bet if a dog walked up she'd gladly give the dog a drink of water!!! Everyone I know will know how poorly the clerks treat customers!! I, not anyone I know will no longer visit another mountain energy store. Poor customer service, unkind, selfish horrible people work here!! They don't deserve the one star I had to give to write a review.

Terrible customer service and disrespectful employee. My husband went into this store tonight. The female employee working was outside smoking and told him they were closed. They are suppose to be open 24 hours and the door was open but she refused service to him without a reason. I can only assume she refused service because her personal smoking time took priority over customers. He said forget it & went to leave. When he got in his car her boyfriend outside the store began verbally assaulting him as he was leaving. What is wrong with these people? If this were my employee she would be fired on the spot!!! I would highly suggest that corporate and management pay close attention to cameras and these reviews to re-evaluate the employees they have hired at this location. Previous customer reviews are similar complaints so obviously there are reoccurring issues. We know a lot of people in the Asheville and Candler area. This is not the first time we have both experienced terrible customer service there, but this will be the last. This gas station just lost a lot of local business because we will be telling everyone we know about this experience and not to go there. Go to the gas station next door instead.

I was sitting in the parking lot of this gas station. I was speaking to a customer about a job. The old woman that works there actually came out and asked me to leave. She is a a nasty person who needs to learn manners. She should be fired for harassment of the customers. I will make sure I never go there again to spend my money. I will also speak with corporate about the people working there. I have never been asked to leave anywhere before. I own my own business and know how to treat people with respect. This will be the only bad review I have ever left for a business and I’m 43 years old.

This store is absolutely hateful! If you sit outside their gas station for more than five minutes, they literally come outside( an old man and old woman) even if you are going inside to buy something and they literally tell you to get in your car and leave! Do not go here if you want to feel horrible! I’ve never in my life heard of a gas station running people off! I’m going to contact corporate. The old man and old woman here have no business running anyone off and need to be fired immediately! DO NOT WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE IF YOU CAN’T GIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

This place is ridiculous. Employees NEVER have masks on, even when they are in the aisles stocking shelves. They often have to come in from smoking outside in order to take care of customers.

DISHONEST COMPANY!!This store passed me a counterfeit $20.00 and when I spoke to the manager she had no remorse saying she wasn't obligated to refund me the money!! So I will NEVER return there again!!
