LOVED LOVED this independent book store. I found a book for my daughter and 2 records for myself. This book store is such a vibe and they were playing good music which made me stay longer. The owner was super nice and friendly and was greeted right when walked into the door. This is a must stop and you will not be disappointed.???

I'm not old, but I'm old enough to remember when independent bookstores were everywhere. When I first started traveling in the late '90s, it seemed like every town I discovered had at least one unique bookstore. Then the chains began to take over, and now it seems like even the Barnes and Nobles are few and far between. Finding a used bookstore is even harder, and almost gone are the days that I can spend an hour in the store and leave ten books heavier while only spending $30-50.I had been to Carolina Shores a few times and my unfortunate luck with bookstores had continued. Then this time I discovered Books & Moore. It's not the biggest store in the world, but there are a lot of great titles packed into a not-cluttered space. I was able to look at every title in the store without feeling rushed, and buy a few books that I was happy to bring home.The owner, who was working in the store when I visited, left me alone to swim amongst the titles, and was friendly and conversational when I was finally ready to talk. Next time I visit I'll bring a bigger suitcase!

Good books at fantastic prices, great music, comfortable, cozy vibe, and apparently a shop cat (who I am looking forward to meeting next time). All of this right across the path from some terrific coffee and treats at the Coffee Cottage. Couldn't ask for more on a lazy Saturday morning. Love this place!

Very nice bookstore, wonderful service and prices!!! Nice selection of puzzles, both new and used also. Wide selection of LP's. Pleasant atmosphere, places to sit and read, coffee shop nearby. Highly recommend!!!

Great bookstore with both new and (barely) used books; also record albums, jigsaw puzzles, and other "neat stuff" that made our visit there lengthy and fun! We got to meet both of the owners (brothers) who are each unique and personable, with skills that make this new business our Calabash, NC treasure "find" of the week! Check it out!
