Very rude area manager. I realized there is no point of going through legal trouble over nearly $50 but I will take time out of my day to let others know before choosing this gym that, like another person posted 2 months ago they kept charging them even though they had the Oxford subscription. I only went to the Oxford location. I went up to the creedmoor location to get the membership for me and my significant other. They were training a new lady and somehow I find out today that I never was on oxfords membership like I asked nor was my email correct! The email that I use to get updates from!! I wouldn’t have a problem if I was asked if my email was correct and told to confirm it but I wasn’t. And even explained that to Miss Tina😧. I then got told that it was pretty much my fault because I needed to check my bank account to make sure it’s not connected anymore, WHEN if the lady did it right the first time I would’ve been assigned to oxford like I asked. IF I GOT ASKED CONFIRMATION ON MY INFORMATION I WOULDN’T HAVE MONEY BEING STOLEN FROM ME! I even gave bank statements, told her I was never asked to confirm anything, SHOWED MY EMAILS. She then sent a picture of my information and I told her it was wrong and that’s how it proceeded to be my fault. As you can see all those messages are in order and this lady doesn’t have any customer service experience, she needs to be looked into considering this has happened to someone else!!!!! (Some things crossed out for privacy of course)

I went to the Oxford location and they said that we need to buy our membership at creedmoor even if we were about to go to Oxford location, so we did that, at Oxford any machine works, so duty anyway they close the gym and I call them to cancel my subscription and TINA ( who is no nice and she shouldn’t be working on customer service) told me that was automatically cancel but it’s been 3 months and they still charging the bill, I call today and they said that it was already cancel and they don’t know why they continue charging, I guess is a way to steal money!! I’m going to call my bank !!

Location is good and convenient however with minimum staffing people bring their less than 5 year old children making it uncomfortable to get a good workout in. You’re in constant fear the kid will get in the way and get hurt. I understand ultimately it is bad parenting how ever there should be measures in place to prevent this

(3.3.23) Fitness NC isn't perfect folks —
But …
- For a 1-person membership you only pay $15 (+$5 monthly to bring a guest) a month | lowest priced membership I ever had
- I guess the owners/management read these reviews because there is always ample cleaning supplies available
- There typically is someone manning the front desk when I come around 5pm on the weekdays
-The only thing that could use improvement is the actual weights themselves and some of the machines that are worn out/outdated

I was a member of this gym about a year and a half ago. At the time, it was a very good gym, they usually had some1 working the front counter and if not then some1 could be reached by phone. I stopped going to the gym and when I tried to get someone on the phone to start my membership back up I couldn't. I had to drive to the place to try to find some help. A sign on the door said to call Tina at such and such number. I did this, left a message. She got back to me quick, however when I began trying to get my membership started again, she informed me that I had about a years membership due. Funny that as I was paying monthly, to which I was told they never had a monthly membership, a blatant lie if ever I've heard one. From the other reviews I've read now, it seems that this place has steadily declined, I would suggest elite fitness half a block down the road.

It’s nice having someone at the desk whenever I come in now in case something happens but the new guy has zero people skills or personality. The last few people have always interacted with the members but this new guy, that’s not gonna happen. Not even a, “have a nice day” or “how’s it going”.

Customer service and honesty is non existent by management at this location. I was charged an unauthorized fee in addition to the monthly membership. I called the number listed for the gym and was told by the rep that an email was sent out on March 22nd about the fee. I advised the rep that no one ever asked me for my email when I signed up for membership therefore I was never notified. The rep read off an email which was not mine therefore I asked for a refund being that this was an error on their part. I was told to call the manager Tina, who was very nasty and barely let me even explain the situation as she kept over talking me and I had to keep asking her to let me talk. Tina started the call off by saying she had heard that I wanted to cancel my membership but that I Refused to bring back my key fob and they would need that back because their fobs are expensive. (Very professional for a manager to start off a conversation with a customer with false accusations). I never refused, the rep at the gym said that she was leaving at 1:00pm and if I couldn’t be there by 1:00 then I could leave the fob on her desk with my name attached. She then said if I couldn’t bring the fob back that a $10 fee would is charged. The conversation with the rep ended by me telling her that I’d be dropping the fob off with my name attached to it. Tina then proceeds to say it was not their responsibility to make sure that they have a correct email address. Hmmm… no one ever asked me for an email address to put on file… so obviously they just plugged something in. She continues on with its not their responsibility to make sure the information is correct… really?!? Most legit businesses do verify with a consumer that the information they have entered into their system is indeed correct. I tried to explain to her that obviously something was done wrong at registration being that I was never asked for an email yet there is an email entered into my account that is someone else’s name… her response was that her staff members do everything correctly because she checks on them. Hmm that’s odd being that Tina was not there checking on her staff member when I was registered for membership. I suggest finding a gym with better management that has people and customer service skills.

Gym needs a few up grades. A few investments would go a long way Please please get a whole new rack of dumbbells. Maybe upgrade the lighting.
