May be okay for moves but if your things need to be put in storage I would strongly advise using someone else. Our things were scattered, things broken, heavy items stacked on top of leather sofa, cushions flattened. Two air conditioners put in Italian leather chair, then boxes on top of that and boxes stacked on the back of the chair which crushed the back. They are not insured so I am left with expensive furniture I cannot afford to replace. When I contacted the owner all I got was "I didn't do that", no apology or accountability. I have photos.

These fine folks helped us move from Burnsville, NC to just outside of town. We had a lot to move and we did just that. These folks are very courteous and do a great job. I will most definitely use them again! Also, their prices are very responsible. You can trust them and depend on them. 6 Stars!

Do Not Use Them! They were late, destroyed property and denied it when i had proof. Contacted the State about their license to operate as a moving company and was informed it would be investigated due to another previous complaint. I can't tell you how much this ruined the whole experience of moving to a new home.

GREAT SERVICE! ( I would had given them 5 stars , but no human is perfect! ) To anyone moving, I highly recommend "Moving Around The Mountains". They listen and follow through with what you ask of them. They are kind and down to Earth. At no time did they act disrespectful towards me. They was careful and respectful of my belongings. I would not hesitate to hire them again. Thank you for your help "Moving Around The Mountains"!

We needed some furniture moved from room to room, upstairs to downstairs, and downstairs to upstairs. This was beyond our physical capabilities, so we called Moving Around The Mountains to see if they could help. They arrived on time and immediately went to work. Within an hour, all was done with absolutely no damage. We were delighted that we could find a local vendor who would do a small job. A+

I have used Donald and his guys several times over the years. 'Never had a problem. They were super reliable, easy to negotiate with, and eager to be of service. I have recommended them countless times to individuals who all had good experiences.

I operate a Uhaul dealership in Marion NC. Movers like this company will operate uninsured and rent Uhaul trucks to move customers.
Donald Macking of this company admitted to me freely that they are not bonded, and are not insured commercially for cargo or liability of any kind.
We had a situation where a customer double booked movers, and his company rented a truck from my moving center, where my men had already arrived on time and were in the middle of the move. This "Business man" shows up to the customers house 40 minutes late, my creww is halfway through with the short haul, and he proceeds to negatively review my Uhaul dealership trying to claim we were under handed in the activity - The customer double booked, we had nothing to do with that error and our team was on time, performed well and was complimented on their service..
I am now returning the favor as the character of a business operator is demonstrated in how they both publicly and privately handle their business.
This business is not insured, not bonded and does not even own a truck for moving. AVOID THEM TO AVOID DEALING WITH SCAM ARTIST.

I would avoid these folks like the plague. They broke the leg off of my couch and a lazy boy,arrived 2 hrs late, didn't move everything (even though they said that they did), and then wanted more money than their estimate. to top it off they left the water running from the washer, flooded the lower apartment and cost me my security deposit. when you add the deposit and their price it was almost $1000 for 2 rooms. Beware! (Also posed on Superpages)
