I just left this laundromat and found the machines were clean and well cared for. Miranda was very knowledgeable going out of her way to help customers. When she wasn't helping customers she was busy cleaning. The other patrons were fine and there weren't any screaming children. Overall, it was a great experience

Sitting at Mtn Energy waiting on laundry & I have some notes... The lone handicapped parking area has been filled with able bodied drivers & there is no enforcement of the tag/placard requirement for using the space. The vacant-eyed stare from the girl behind the counter has hammered home the point that she is only there to collect a cheque & is not going to do anything aside from operating the cash register. There are so many teens/twentysomethings that it is nigh impossible to get inside the store. The haze of smoke right at the entrance ensures that I use my inhaler at least twice per visit. The profanity is making me uncomfortable & I am NOT sensitive to that sort of thing at all. The laundry facility is utterly filthy. I cleaned the tops of the machines I used myself as there was so much paper, empty containers & extraneous junk on them, it was impossible to access the detergent compartments. More machines are out of order than working. I opened a washer to find it full of animal hair, some sort of vegetation & rocks. Normally, I wait until after midnight to use the laundromat, but my husband is out of town & as I have been approached several times by strangers, I don't actually feel safe going so late. People have been squatting in the laundromat. I was made very nervous by a man waving a large metal bar around... Burnsville is a small town, with a minuscule homeless population, but being open 24 hours means the Mtn Energy store & it's environs are open for anyone who feels like wandering in. While I don't expect a convenience store to solve homelessness, I do have an expectation of safety & cleanliness that so far has. Ot been met. Nothing seems to shake them up or encourage them to make improvements. If there were a single other laundromat in my area, I would never step foot here again.

The alternative to the Burnsville laundromat is the one in Spruce Pine. However, most of the machines there are broken....?I think the employees at Mountain Energy do a pretty good job of keeping the floors and folding tables clean.? Yet what troubles me there is the lack of discipline by parents on the kids who are often screaming, spilling snacks on the floor (w/o any parent clean up).and climbing the machines and tables.

The dirtiest place I’ve been to. The machines that were in service we filthy, soap of all types clumped on the top of the machines, dirty floors. Just very unkept. There were several machines out of service. This could be a nice place if they hired someone to tend to it.

I was a bit disappointed when I came from the opposite end of Burnsville to fastop because I needed milk, and the stores were already closed. I get there and they didn't have any. I had to backtrack a bit to shell, and luckily they had milk! I just wish they would accept EBT cards as a type of payment. Besides that, gas is fair, and loyal consumers can save with a fuel rewards card. Employees are great. Nice, and friendly.. and helpful..Besides Josh..(we're always poking fun at one another jokingly) he's a butthead????

Pretty good place to doLaundry, but expensive on the wash $2.25 <~for a small load and can go up to $8 for a bigger washer, but the dryers are pretty cheap and get clothes done fast, even the washers are fast and efficient, the staff is pretty nice as well! We like doing our laundry here just wished some of the prices were a little cheaper lol.

most of the staff is very sweet as always but I wished the staff when they are out from behind the counter and coming in close contact with other folks in the store that they would wear their masks over their noses instead of using it as a chin strap just saying

While I continue to use this facility, it is because it is the ONLY laundromat in Burnsville & I haven't the means to replace my home washer yet.
