This store is a scam. I ordered new cabinets for my kitchen when they arrived it looked like they just threw them off the truck. And they didn't even order half of them. Had to order the other half and when they were received they was completely destroyed. Had to call this place everyday for them to make it right it took almost two more months to get my cabinets I needed. The managers were no help and completely lied to me about a refund they were going to give me for waiting so long for my cabinets. I felt like I was scammed and took advantage of.

I'll probably never buy so much as a nut or bolt from this company again. The salesman was awesome, which is why I felt confident in paying and ordering. I had planned to have HD replace all my kitchen countertops. NOT NOW. Spent over $3K on new appliances. Refrigerator, stove, microwave, and Dishwasher. The delivery drivers failed to install the dishwasher because they claimed it was a "hardwired" unit. So, I was told that someone else on their install team would call me today to set up a time to come back. Good thing I called to check the status. NO ONE ELSE was coming. After almost two hours of getting the run around, we come to find out that the delivery service doesn't even install "hardwired" dishwashers. Which mine is not. MEANWHILE, the delivery driver didn't even bother to check to see if it was a hardwired unit. He just assumed. Now I have to wait ANOTHER WEEK OR MORE to find someone else to install it and haul it away. AND on top of it, I tipped the guys $20 for their hard work and assumed they were being honest. Home Depot BARELY made it right by issuing a refund for the haul away and install and a little extra so we could pay someone else to install and haul away. Classic example of passing the buck and the left hand has no clue what the right hand is doing. Now I have a dishwasher sitting in the middle of my kitchen until we can find an electrician to install it. DON'T but appliances from Home Depot unless you're 100% positive they can install them in your home.

I thoroughly enjoyed this Home Depot location during my visit yesterday. Very clean. Well organized. Excellent customer service. Very fair prices. Ample parking. Clean restrooms. Large selection. Not one single complaint.

Didn’t purchase from here because we are moving out of state. Went in to look at refrigerators. Spoke with Lisa in the appliance section. She was very helpful and took her time giving us information knowing we were there only to look.

Employees seem poorly trained & irresponsible. I bought & paid for a patio table on 6/26/2020. It was last one available at any area stores. It would not fit into my car & I was told that I could pick it up later. I advised that I would have some one there with truck on 7/1/2020. I had driven 45 minutes from my home to Burlington store because of this specific item. I was assured that item would be at customer service area, ready for pick up. I sent my son, with truck on 7/1/

On 4/22/20, I tried to order 4 Ryobi lawn and leaf bags online, which said the local store in Burlington NC had them in stock. I tried to set up my Home Depot card to pay and it wouldn't let me submit the information, so I called to place the order, and after talking to 2 different people with a total of 40 minute wait times, I was able to order. I needed the bags quickly and was told I would get them on 4/24/20 if I paid a $33 shipping charge. I agreed. On 4/24, I received an email stating I would not get the order on time. Because I needed the bags ASAP, I tried to cancel the order online and it said I could not cancel. I ended up having to order other bags from Amazon so I could get them on time. The HD bags came on 4/30/20 when I wasn't home so I couldn't refuse them. Also, evidently, the bags were shipped from out of state, not sent from the local store where they had them in stock. I then received my statement in the mail fully expecting the shipping charges to be removed, but they were not. I called to request they be removed because I did not receive the bags when promised, and my agreement to these charges based on delivery date of 4/24, and they told me because of COVID-19, they could not take off the delivery charges. They said I could return the bags to the store. REALLY? I have been a really good customer, buying expensive items from you and that is how you treat your customers, especially during this trying time we are all going through? This is one of the very reasons people should stop buying from the big box stores and start buying from local businesses that have a heart for the community. I needed to order a shower stall for my mother who could no longer get in and our of a bath tub. The shower stall that I needed was not available in the store I had to special order it and have it shipped to the store for pick up. All of that was ok. The problem is that I am a disabled vet, and I normally get the 10% discount. But with Home Depot you cant get the discount when you have to order online, unlike with Lowes you can get it online as well with a verified My Lowes card. So this is why all Vets should shop at Lowes.
