Absolutely the best place in the peidmont to get gorgeous plants, delicious produce and beautiful pottery. There seasonal pumpkin patch and Christmas tree selection are the best around. The staff is extremely helpful and kind as well. The prices are very reasonable for all the quality and selection they offer. So blessed to have Garden Valley in our area!!!

This is a fair market with certain conveniences while lacking in other areas. On a positive note it's one of the few markets locally where you can shop both produce AND ornamental / edible garden plants. While that convenience is there they certainly lack in plant diversity. They over buy a ton of hanging baskets, mandevilla, and "your grandma's" cheapie annuals and don't offer much in the realm of anything memorable. Also a they charge you a WHOPPING 4% additional charge to use a credit / debit card which is obnoxious and reason enough to not return. In summery it's very run of the mill with no unique qualities outside of offering produce and plants. Just make sure you bring your cash!

Just bought our Christmas tree here. The selection was really good, had competitive prices, and the staff was incredibly nice. There's fun activities for kids like a photo area, The Legend of the Candy Cane stations, and corn hole. I would definitely recommend this business. My husband bought a huge cinnamon roll at checkout, so he's pretty happy, too.

Can't say enough good things about Garden Valley!They have the BEST selection of plants that are beautiful and healthy. Last much better than plants bought at bigger box stores. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always helping me to pick out the right plants for the season and giving advice on how to keep them thriving. Until finding Garden Valley Farmers Market, I struggled with my potted porch plants but not anymore! My porch is gorgeous and thriving every season with beautiful plants. They also have a wonderful selection of fresh and local fruits, veggies, jams and more! As well as pots and planters, outdoor decor and more!

I am not at all ok being charged a 4% surcharge by this merchant for using a credit card - especially with Covid in NC - the use of cash has been discouraged. Additionally, the surcharge must not exceed the merchant's cost of accepting the credit card. Different credit cards varry in their merchant surcharges and my credit card company is not charging this merchant 4%. I've reported this company to my credit card company, I will be getting a refund.
