I would not recommend buying from this business! 2 months ago we went and bought 2 living room suites one for my parents and one for us. We paid a higher price than Babcock, we could have gotten 2 for the price of 1. That's besides the point though, the guy that sold us the furniture went on and on about a coverage on the future, well something happened and we tried to see about getting it fixed, well it didn't cover it because it wasn't a factory defect. You live and learn but I will go somewhere cheaper that has actual insurance.

I had a sectional sofa delivered the last Monday on January. I called 3 weeks later because the arm of the chair was broken, the padding in the arm had fallen and the fabric on my cushions had now become extremely loose. The sofa that I had found so nice in the store was not as nice or as comfortable. I had to leave a message the first time I called because they said I had to speak with the warehouse manager. So, I left the message but never received a return call so I called back this time I spoke with Chris the warehouse manager who stated he would come out and take pictures. Fast forward a week Chris comes out takes photos and says he would show it to the company or whoever he needed too. A week later Chris leaves me a message I return the call same day and leave a voicemail no response. I call back the next week (by now it's the 2nd week of March) speak with someone who states that Chris will call back. On the next day I receive a call from Chris who states that the he spoke with whoever and my sectional was broken because I leaned on it... no Sir I just got the chair he the proceeds to say the cushions were like that because the were settled . Once again no sir I just got the sofa and hadn't had it a month. However, he stated that they would pick up my sofa and fix the arm of it but the 1 person that could fix it was out sick so if I had not heard from him by end of the month call back. So called in April the 1 person is still out sick so he tells me to call back the end of April. Fast forward to today 5/18/22 still nothing from Chris. So I call and speak to another gentleman who tells me that if I can bring the chair back they can try to fix my sofa but apparently I had a miscommunication with Chris. So they expect me after all this time (now my sectional is worse )as a female to bring a sectional down a flight of stairs and put it a a sedan. This has been the worst experience ever with a furniture company. They need to have a buyer beware sign!!! The only positive I have is the delivery drivers!!! Seriously BUYERS BEWARE!!!!

Pay cash for table and chairs got them home did not like asked if I could exchange or even pay more for a different type of table they said no I feel like if you want business that you should accommodate the customer and felt a little pressured

We went to this store twice looking for new furniture. We spoke with Boyce originally. When we returned a few days later, he was not there. The gentlemen that helped us led us to a power sectional that I liked in the store. It was priced 2500, but the salesman said it was Lane furniture, which I know is made of real wood and a US company, so I didn't have a problem spending that on it. The salesman said the price was firm because it was a Lane and they were having to deliver to Danville. They brought it and set it up. The recliners are already starting to show sagging in my husband's seat. I go to rearrange it yesterday and move the console part of the chair. There is a label that says Made in China, SiYang Furniture! Not only that, but They would is not real wood, and is splintering off at the connections on the console from where they had put it together. The salesman told me it has a warranty, but they don't give any warranty paperwork, nor do they write what you bought on the receipt. My receipt literally just says "sectional". So, now I have this Chinese fake sectional that I am so unhappy with, but basically stuck with because I was lied about what I was getting.

I would like to put down on paper my personal recommendations for Discount Furniture World and most especially Steve. My experience has concluded much better than expected, I purchased a recliner that did not live up to the manufacturers warranty. I can say nothing against that manufacturer, they did send someone to make repairs per the warranty, however, I doubt that would've even happened without Steve's insistence. Throughout the 60 plus days of my dealing with this recliner and it's problems, I called or messaged Steve nearly every other day, (he has the patience of a saint). Finally through Steve's efforts we managed to come up with a solution, the manufacturer donated the chair and Steve provided a different chair much to my satisfaction. I strongly recommend that anyone requiring furniture in the Alamance county area would be well advised to you first stop Discount Furniture World.

I purchased a white sectional couch from Discount Furniture Superstore yesterday. I was so pleased with the fantastic customer service by Boyce, who I believe runs the business. The selection at the store is wide-ranging and there were various sectional couches from which to choose. A critical factor in my choice of couch/seller was delivery. Given personal constraints, I was looking for furniture that could be delivered to me ASAP. While the store's delivery was a bit behind due to COVID-19, they were able to arrange for their delivery guys to bring the couch to me the next day, which happened to be their day off (with an additional charge, since for that price point, delivery would be typically free). Boyce also took down a bit of the total price given that the light color of the couch would predispose it to easy staining, and he also provided us with a free bottle of cleaner that we could use. The delivery guys, William and one other person whose name we never got, were also efficient and quick, and they drove 40+ minutes (each way) to get to me. At one point, I did get worried about the timing of the delivery since there was a slight delay, but I appreciated that Boyce kept me updated and gave me several calls to let me know when the guys would be coming. This helped immensely. Overall, I'm really happy about my purchase and recommend that anyone looking for furniture check out the Discount Furniture Superstore. Quality is good, prices are good, and I have no regrets. Boyce and his other associate (I am not sure of his name) will take good care of you. I'm so glad that I ventured out to Burlington on a whim to check out furniture. It was well worth it!

This company is a scam! They pull customers in via a heavily used advertising campaign stating that no credit needed... knowing that it will appeal to people with poor credit.. however once you mention this despite literally having it written all over their business it's a whole different story... the salesman would only tell you not to even consider the no credit check company's.. explaining that the cost was not worth considering. Bait and switch tactics used by this establishment are deplorable. Do not give a company like this your money!

I rather spend my money on better furniture, I don’t care how much I end up spending but this store ain’t the one, gave it a try to see what they got but the sofas and beds are cheap as hell in there, went to Ashley’s Furniture instead.
