I went to Colfax for a new wide recliner. Picked out what I wanted. Husband returned next day to pick it up and went got it home it was NOT what I had chosen the day before. When arrived back at store was told we had to pay an additional 300.00 to get different recliner. When refused was treated rudely and told we had store credit og 600.00. Ended up setting for a lousy reclining loveseat. Never again COLFAX never again

I was looking for a comfy side chair with foot rest and found it at Coffee furniture. Delivery was quick and easy two very nice gentlemen nice and polite DJ was one of them. Definitely worth a visit to Colfax furniture!

The narcissistic "sales"woman (Brittany Toland) hit us with a "buy it now or get out" I mean ma'am it's a furniture store, I can sit in the furniture.She was judgemental from the second we walked in, giving us an ugly look because we're not dressed nice, and assumed we came to find the clearance items.

I don't normally do "bad reviews" but I'm so disappointed in Colfax Furniture in Burlington. We went in there last night to get a recliner for husband for his new office. Something he has been dreaming of getting for YEARS in his mini man cave. They have a 1/2 off price promotion and picked a chair, paid, and had plans to pick up this morning.This morning rolls around - we go to pickup and they try to give us a different chair. Not the chair we paid for. Husband pointed out the chair on the floor when they asked. Turns out they put the wrong sticker on it. They said they can't give it to us - had to request a refund. The price we paid is the price they had advertised. And now that I'm looking online - its STILL advertised the same way. But they "couldn't give us the chair for that price"Now that I think about the Burlington store - I'm heated at the customer service. The man Terry helping us, super sweet. But there was a boy there who was so rude to him when he asked him questions. The one chair we were interested in had a rip. He was going to ask the kid if it's something they could fix. The kid didn't care to help. Also, Terry was going to ask someone else in the store regarding assistance on something. The kid told his co-worker make sure you tell him - this (what he was doing) was more important. Checkout the lady seemed annoyed. Asked kinda rudely if we were taking the chair tonight and we said no - said their guys loading are leaving in 2 minutes. I don't think the store was set to close for another 40 min- hour.The whole experience now makes me super glad we got refunded. We went over to Burlington called Badcock Home Furniture &more and had an AMAZING experience. My husband found a lazyboy, clearance, better condition, better features, better priced and we walked out with the chair in under 30 minutes.I'm making this post public in hope Colfax Furniture sees this and addresses their Burlington NC location. Being that we need to furnish our house still - they just lost future customers.
