Family, AMAZING authentic handcrafted dishes and friendly faces. This is the blueprint for every other establishment to follow. El Mirasol is above & beyond 5 star and I wish the family business only the best because they are by far, the best.

Family-owned and delicious tamales. I noticed they also had a store inside with a bunch of different products. Will definitely be back when visiting

My wife and I stop here every chance we get. The birria tacos are her favorite and in her opinion, the best between Wilmington and Raleigh. Everything on the menu is delicious! I highly recommend this place. It checks off all the boxes, including friendly service, fair portions, and authentic quality.

Good chicken torta=check, friendly service=check, awesome, weird taxidermied squirrels on the porch=check (see picture). Unique place to get some good food at fair prices.

This place looks pretty unassuming if you pass it by. We stopped in on our way home from Wilmington to have lunch, we miss the good Mexican food from AZ/Cali.. well this absolutely hit the spot. The staff were super friendly and helpful! We got tacos al pastor, enchiladas, chicken empanadas.. all of it was delicious. Their store has everything you need, too.

The staff was very helpful and polite. They had a bunch of great recommendations for drinks and vegetarian options.I ordered Sope with avocado, mushrooms, green bell peppers, & cactus!
Vegetarian options: Sope, cheese empanadas, tacos, burritos

Let me start off by saying the food was Amazing!!! If you find yourself near this location take the small detour and eat here. I had the Enchiladas verdes and I must tell you they were delicious. I tried 4 different types of meats and they were all equally good. The service was outstanding!!! I highly recommend you stop by this place if you find yourself in the area. I promise it will not disappoint.
