We really appreciate how military, healthcare workers, etc get in for free. This helps tremendously for a 1 income family and hope they keep doing this! We stopped going to Hillridge because it would cost a family of 3 almost 90$ just to get in and do the "activities". The food prices at Vollmer Farm are very reasonable as well. There's a good amount of stuff for the kids to do. Even if you have to buy extra tickets for some of the activities it's still way cheaper than other farms around. They also give alot of coupons for the food, 5$ off 25$, BOGO icecream, 50% off coffee. Really appreciate this!

Great place! It is well-organized with plenty of things to do. We'll be going back next year!

It is a very nice place for small children. I thought they had many activities for adults as well. There is a little confusion on what activities that are included in the entry price ticket and activities that are an additional cost. It will be nice
to have one price for all activities.

The value for your money has dropped immensely from past years. The cow train ride now costs $2, $4 to paint a small pumpkin, $4 for the corn maze. This is on top of the price of admission.

by far the worst and most expensive “pumpkin patch” i’ve ever been to. went for my son expecting a corn maze and pumpkin patch and other attractions as they advertise. there is no pumpkin patch or really any pumpkins at all for that matter. every attraction you have to pay for plus admission and cow train is $2 and not even a 60 second ride. corn maze was solved by my 3 yr old in under 5 mins and the maze is incredibly thin and just tiny. if you go, don’t expect to spend less than $80 on minuscule activities and no pumpkins for carving. Brileys is worth the drive and price, this was not.

Local produce, cheeses, ice-cream, cut flowers, and last but not least, raw milk! The market inside has quite a few handmade items, so browsing was fun. We need to support our LOCAL farmers who provide REAL food for us.
This type of farm/market for local and healthy foods is a great blueprint!

I've been coming to Vollmer Farm for years back when they had the organic strawberries. But now they just have blueberries; blackberries; sunflowers; produce; the Back Forty and other events. I did a flower decorating class here once. The Market sells pumpkins in season; produce; jams and locally made products. Then the Market cafe has ice cream and sandwiches and coffee. My last two visits were to pick up pre-orders for holiday dishes. I do love the sweet potato casseroles and sweet potato pies. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Beautiful and friendly. This is a working farm with a very well stocked store that includes food and gifts. They are also members of Harvest host if you are interested in camping. They have a cafe that serves breakfast, lunch, specialty coffees and more.

I always have the BEST time here with my little girl! And honestly, if you’re an adult and you can’t have fun here, you’re a stick in the mud. This is the most amazing family fun adventure you can get! The pricing is great for the quality of entertainment! Thanks to the whole welcoming staff here!

We’ve gotten coffee and breakfast sandwiches from Vollmer Farm Cafe on many occasions and it is excellent! Highly recommend to anyone stopping in town for a quick coffee and bite to eat. Also, their online ordering works wonderfully! We used that feature this last time and our food and coffee was ready right when we got there!

Great place to go with the family and pick fresh fruit, etc. Blueberries are what we got, and they were delicious. We also purchased some already picked produce which was enjoyable. Will visit again (and soon!)

Vollmer Farm is a great day trip.Fresh meat, produce, jams, and jellies! Also has some local merchandise. There is even a coffee and ice cream shop on site that is delicious! However, my wife and I went for the U-Pick flowers. There is a whole field of wildflowers from June-August that you can go pick yourself for a reasonable fee.We had a great all around experience at Vollmer and will definitely be returning!

This is a great farm that offers flower cutting and berry picking. They have vendors set up inside offering produce, honey, decor, and more. If you're looking for unique gift items you might want to make the trip! They even have a small café now! Everyone is very friendly and helpful and if you go now, you can cut some of the most beautiful sunflowers I've ever seen!

I have fallen in love with this farm. Like many others that I assist or advise in how to reach their customers. They are family owned, locally sourced with the brands they work with and are down to earth, kind hearted, friendly people that add value to the world. Stay tuned for their awesome family oriented events and phenomenal products from a host of Got To Be NC products. This is a must see, must eat situation!

We took my 3 year old granddaughter for their fall festival...tons of activities...lots to do and included in the price. The store was great too and the food...purchased some cute fall decor and a couple of items...plus pumpkins...although free with admission too...and ate food there. Reasonablr prices. Would definitely recommend for families and even individuals...adults..kayaking and plenty to keep busy. Will go here again.
