Great place to enjoy the river and watch rafters and kayakers. Riverside restaurant is a good place to eat. Mostly just relax and enjoy nature.

Boring tame whitewater. Fine for little kids.Guides mechanically spew sales pitches for various NOC spots to eat, shop etc.Dull narration of river float.Not worth money & the sales pitches for merch etc. as you float. It ruins quiet enjoyment of the many flat-water stretches.Go elsewhere for real whitewater. This is a tourist trap.?

As a kayak enthusiast, I was very excited while planning our trip through North Carolina and seeing NOC outfitters on our route. These folks know water sports and have something for everyone! On top of it all it is absolutely gorgeous!
