What a lovely gem this gallery is. Elizabeth’s collection of water colors, oils and mixed media capture the serenity of the surrounding mountains in all their venerable glory. Her paintings of the natural world—misty hills, streams, rockscapes, birds, flowers—express a true love of place. Her illustrations have long complemented her husband George’s nature books and poetry, but Elizabeth also possesses a voice uniquely her own. A visit to her gallery will not disappoint.

Elizabeth's love of the mountains and nature are reflected in her work. I have 2 of her pieces - one on handmade paper, and another beautiful view of the Smokies. Both her watercolors and her acrylics are beautiful. Worth a visit.

We stopped by the gallery right after our train ride, but it was already closed. We called and left a message, but the artist did not call back until we had left the area. Peering through the window, the art looked very nice. Highly recommend you set an appointment if you want to visit.
