This thrift shop is actually a consignment shop. There are a variety of household items for sale including pots, pans, dishes, wall hangings and knick knacks. There are also racks of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing as will as books and toys. Outside is a separate building with furniture. The proprietor, Lorretta, is always very friendly and welcoming. She told me today that she will soon be 80 years old.

Very nice woman runs the shop Has had dogs n cats to care for and find good homes for without helper when she is recouping from operation. The odor is gone. Prices are very reasonable on clothes 50cents up and household items. I go monthly and find new bargains every time

Such a sweet lady, and she has very fair prices. Plenty of antique gems to find. If you have an problem with the animals, it should be noted that she rescues animals and takes care of them. So if you have an issue with the oder, understand the money she makes goes toward the animals.

Does animal rescue also. Such a sweet loving caring person to take in these animals that other people throw away.

Yes -the smell of pet urine is potent. HOWEVER, this kind woman supports animal rescue and does her best. AND you can't beat the prices and the array of items. I stop in 2-3 times a year when in the area to visit my mom. This is a favorite thrift store of mine. If you are hardy enough - you'll do well in your finds!

Loretta rescues animals that have been abused, and abandoned. Sure, the store does have an odor and it can be overwhelming but you can PLUG YOUR NOSE and find some deals because you will. And it all goes to the animals she helps.

This place is not a clean store. The person running it said she rescues dogs and one was in the place. It smelled of dog pee. Items looked moldy and there were cobwebs on the book shelves.

Horrible stench of animal urine! Was 4 months pregnant when visiting and almost threw up before walking inside! Visited her outside stuff and furniture but could not bring myself to walk inside her store. Could feel her presence staring inside my soul while walking outside!

We were immediately met with the overwhelming stench of animal urine. We managed to power through that then we were attacked by hordes of very angry and very hungry fleas. Just don't waste your time.

I don’t think we made it 30 seconds. I haven’t smelled a place of business that bad EVER!!!

I'm sure this store must have some treasures to be found, but the smell! Old, stale and probably more recent animal urine odor permeates the air inside the store. My wife and I left after 30 seconds with instant-onset headaches (and we're not allergic to pets--we even have two dogs). I feel like the owner should separate her animal operation from her thrift store operation--we might be able to stay longer and enjoy it.
