I had a very good experience using Townsend. We had a water issue in an upstairs bathroom that resulted in a redo of the main bath. The team at Townsend worked with our insurance adjuster to correctly identify the cost needed to repair which our adjuster followed. They hold off in doing the repair till all the materials are obtained.
Our new bath looks great. The entire team at Townsend are easy to deal with and kept us posted on each of the steps.

Gail, Aaron, Amanda and the entire Townsend Restoration Team were absolutely amazing to work with. From start to finish they guided us through the process and remained professional. 2020 was a tough year for many but despite every setback Townsend turned what could have been one of the toughest seasons into a peaceful experience. We are forever grateful!

We had a big water leak, behind the wall in the laundry from a burst pipe, that traveled under the flooring to most of the house. Townsend, 1 of top 10 suggested by insurance company, was contacted on Dec 9th. They helped manage our tear out, clean up, storage for a house full of furniture and all restorative flooring, woodwork and painting. We were on a tight schedule as I was scheduled for surgery in 5 weeks. The work was completed 3 days before surgery and I was cleaned up,unboxed, everything in 1600 sq. feet back in it's place and collecting dust by the surgery day. We were most happy with everything , from A to Z, that had been done to help us back to our normal.Services: Mold inspection

To be fair, this is only directed to the design center/remodeling service. Their disaster mitigation team is top notch and I have nothing but good things to say about them.However I hired the design center side to fix storm damage. They took 4 months to get us an estimate, when they did it had so many errors and square footage miscalculations they had to revise it several times. Their project manager would only return my calls when he wanted payment.They managed to put in several windows upside down. Had design plans drawn up by an architect which they managed to lose twice! Over a year and a half later with little work done was told to pay everything we owed and they wouldn't be coming back because I had asked their painters to not paint in the rain! Normally I wouldn't have even said anything about it, but on a previous occasion they had painted the exterior while it was raining, sending a stream of wet paint down my driveway.Project Manager was completely unprofessional and the quality of the work was terrible. I would never recommend them to repair anything. Contractors I have coming in to fix the work don't believe a professional contractor did the work to begin with.Service: Remodeling

Horrible, horrible business! Have them to restore our house after a fire, now everything is ruin! Floor is lifting up, mildew or mold is forming from vent along with humidity, roof border is falling apart. It looks a lot worse than when it had burned down! Replace everything we had with cheaper materials and with the price they were charging we could've built a house! I understand the whole 3 years warranty deal but that shouldn't stop the quality from going on either! This company is a complete rip off and I highly suggest to you no one hire them I have pictures of everything only after 6 years or restoration. And just to keep the timeline straight, the house burned down in 2012, all this happen in 2015. Even though its within the warranty no one came out nor did they reply back to our message or email beside fixing issues with the A/C unit that they install. And still hasn't got in touch with us, so townsend you have 48 hours within this time stamp, to come out and redeem your reputation! Or I'll have fox 8, news 2, city of high point, and my attorney to expose this company! I wasted 100 plus thousand the first time I can do it again for lawyers fee this time and this is far from a threat, it's a guarantee and we'll see who's gaurantee is better in effect!
