I take my kids here all the time we spoke love this park. There is also a lake here down the side street in front of the park. You can take out your boat or you can rent paddle boats. You can fish at the lake. You can walk out on the Pier and look out. It's just so beautiful. All round wonderful experience.

Typically a quiet park, not as busy as other city parks. Seversl shelter spaces for sitting and/or cooking out. Nice playground area for older children, ages 5 and up. Unfortunately, no smaller equipment for toddlers. Lots of open grass area for structured games or free play or running around.
