June 2024 by SWEET PEA FARM
I was visiting Banner Elk when my 2012 Jeep Liberty Jet started running badly. My plans were to continue back another 1300 miles to CT. Geoff's Swedish Werke shop was right down the road from where I broke down.
Geoff dropped everything and immediately started diagnosing and working on my truck. He was professional, thorough, and courteous. One of my fuel injector plugs and coil packs needed replacement. Parts were ordered for the following day, he dropped me off at my Air B and B, and my truck was finished the next day around lunch as promised. I HIGHLY recommend Geoff and his services and will continue to use his shop for repairs when I move to the area. It is obvious his passion for cars with the array of old fixer uppers scattered around the property - a true mechanic at heart ?!

Highly recommend. After much frustration with my locally available mechanics I found this shop. The owner was very knowledgeable about my 2008 Saab 9-3 aero. He was upfront and honest about the challenges of finding parts for my car. Throughout the process he was very responsive and transparent. He charged a fair price for the work done. I will be bringing my car here from now on. Will recommend this shop to anyone with import cars.

Genuinely, fire whoever you had on phones today. As someone who works in a shop, the lack of knowledge about a very simple issue is embarrassing. This was a desperation option due to my being out of my town but for a shop that claims to know Swedish vehicles I had much higher hopes.

I called this guy and spoke with him about changing a simple relay on my BMW. He told me that he would do some research and call me back. I never heard from him again. I called him multiple times and left multiple messages. Is this how you treat your customers?

BEWARE!!! Long review but please read!! If I could give no stars I would!!Dropped my BMW X1 off last Tuesday (5/11/21). Replacing rear brakes, headlamp and checking oil leak. Didn’t hear anything so I called almost a week later, this past Monday and left a message. Geoff called me back a few hours later to tell me he had an accident and had not started on the car. But said he found the oil leak and total repairs including brakes would be $934. Then asked me for a $400 deposit. A little taken back, I went ahead and gave him a $400 deposit over the phone. I waited again for several days and finally called him back today (Friday, 5/21/21) because I hadn’t heard from him since Monday. Left a message around 9:30am. Around 2pm I got a call back and he stated that he was almost finished with the car. Then asked me if I knew my engine cover was cracked (it wasn’t when I dropped it off). I thought maybe something small so I didn’t give it much thought. When we arrived to pick up the car later that day, not only was the engine cover cracked, it was completely broken in half. 2 weeks for what should have taken 2 days MAX and now I have to replace the engine cover because he claims he didn’t do it. Non responsive and dishonest. Please take your vehicle somewhere else!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've counted on Jeff and his mechanics to help with the safety and proper running order of my little OLD BMW Z3 since I bought it. I have never been disappointed in the service or time it took to get a repair done. I learned from the beginning that even though it is inexpensive with gas it is not cheep to get a car like that repaired. I knew it when I bought it. They have always treated me with respect, didn't have to bring a man along to keep from being told I needed something I didn't. This shop has been in business for a long time and has many resources and has always provided the repair my car needed. I would recommend them to anyone who has a special sports car they love!

Took my 1995 BMW 318i here with the windows mot working. I had already checked many things myself but was stumped. When I went I gave them a list of all the things that I had already confirmed worked and told them specifically what to check, in writing, and over the phone, I told the desk and the mechanic. I specified that I was short on cash and there was to be a $100 maximum and if it was going to go over to call me. When they called me back they charged me $240 and gave me the list of things they checked, it was like they had copied half the list I made. I was extremely mad but kept calm, asked why they had looked at things that I specifically told them not to and why they had gone over the $100 maximum, told me I had never told them what not to check and had never told them about a maximum price, the same people I had told earlier were now lying to my face. I highly advise people to steer clear of this shop, they screwed me over and they'll do it to you.
