Good selection of sports clothing and memorabilia. They have an excellent store setup with locker like sections for certain teams. Worth a visit, especially if you are a fan of Appalachian State and any major market NFL teams.

Couldn't go in without a mask so i don't know what to say. I like being able to choose since it's still America, i understand some things but i will think i should be able to choose. That being said it looked like a cool store, knocked 2 stars since every other store in the mall let us in without a mask..

We came here today when visiting the Boone Mall. I grew up in the area, went to elementary and high school here and was glad to see some gear available from my high school along with college and grad school and professional teams. A note about the service--I actually was happy to be not suddenly approached by an overly enthusiastic employee when I initially walked into the store. You know the kind of place where you walk in just to browse and someone just comes up to you and asks if you're looking for anything? I was looking for a specific item and after a few minutes of browsing, the guy behind the counter came up to ask if he could help me find anything. He was super nice and helped me look for items similar to what I was looking for. When we couldn't find the size I wanted, I asked for a few other items and he found some for me right away. I ended up finding the perfect shirt for my kid that was the right size, player, and team. As I was paying, I chatted with him that I had gone to High school here and was glad to see my school's shirts/gear were being sold--it turns out he was also an alum of my school too (about 8 years before so we didn't know each other), but it turns out he owns the store and opened since 1990. They have expanded to a few other locations as well. I was just about to leave a nice review but noticed some 1 stars on here from people who have done a total of 1 to 3 Yelp reviews--really people? Those should have been filtered out. So just to address some of those 1 star reviews on Yelp complaining of not having attentive service--if you needed something, why not just ask the person who is behind the counter instead of writing that the employee was not paying attention to customers? Anyway, I'd be back if I wanted to find another team or player shirt, jersey, etc. This was actually my first time coming in the store and I was glad to see it still here after so many years. --------TL;DR-------- PROS: friendly service, small business feel, nice location at the mall with easy parking. Prices are reasonable and on par with national chains like Foot Locker or Lids or other stores I've bought sports memorabilia at. CONS: none BOTTOM LINE: this is a great small business to find your team's clothes or other team gear to show your support. Service is actually great

Almost like a high country souvenir shop, "Sports Fanatic" and the smaller "Life Styles" store are family friendly places to purchase sports memorabilia, Boone and Blowing Rock T Shirts and Hats, and great clothing at discount prices...

Very good experience the gentleman who owns it was very nice and accommodating and helped us find some rain gear that made our vacation even more enjoyable. Having the right gear on allowed us to get out and take some amazing photographs of the storm we were experiencing.
