“Being an employee of the store, of course 5 stars but also I see a lot of reviews on limited items and out of stock items, some even saying we don't carry items. We as a store do not and cannot order or select what we get. Trust us we want the selection everyone else does, but that is ultimately held up to corporate and who puts in the orders that arrive randomly at the store. Boone in and of itself has a limited select of most things, we are apart of that and just working with what we have.”

“The folks at Waypoint are fantastic. They’re never pushy/salesy and are incredibly knowledgeable. I also love that they carry the highest quality gear (not just generic “brand name” merch - but the good stuff from those makers). On top of that, they support and carry several cottage industry brands.
So yeah, if you’re looking for an outfitter for everything from fly fishing, climbing, to backpacking/camping, and kayaking - you should absolutely stop in.”
