I can only say good things about Spangler Restoration. My insurance company recommended them for my area. They arrived very fast, did their assessment, and quickly had the work scheduled. It took 6 months to complete our project, and they were by our side throughout the process with many emails, text msgs, phone calls and onsite visits by our wonderful project contact, Sandi Hicks. I highly suggest you use Spangler Restoration for your needs.

Spangler was great. After not having any success relying on my management company to find a company to help with the water leak / damage in our home in Sugar Grove, we decided to call Spangler ourselves. They were out there the next day to begin remediation, saving our carpet and bookshelves. Restoration was completed within two weeks of the initial leak, getting our house back to the way it was supposed to be. All in all, Spangler helped make a nasty situation just a bit less bad; we're very much appreciative to them and their staff.

About 6 weeks ago, I walked into my ski condo around 1 in the morning...after a very long drive and was devastated to find standing water throughout the entire condo. Spangler was called first thing the next morning and they came instantly. Within the hour of their arrival they had all their water mitigation equipment up and running. I then had them do the renovations to the condo after the mitigation and I am beyond pleased with their work. Sandy Hicks was my project manager and she was amazing. Very responsive and ensured that everything was beautiful. Thank you Sandi and Spangler! You and your crews gave me back my little happy place.Service: Flood cleanup

The good- everyone we’ve dealt with has been pleasant. The cleanup was done quicklyThe “not so good”- communication on when things would be taking place was poor. I reached out on a few occasions to try to get a timeline, and even so, the job site manager called on a Friday to see if he could come out Monday. This all took place in October. The leak occurred in July. We did decide to go with a harder to find flooring-so I can understand some delays there, however, between August 22nd and November 8th, we received almost no contact. The only communication we’ve received regularly is from home office asking for payment (we cannot get in touch with our adjuster-he fell off the face of the earth), and the jobsite “manager” texting to ask if we have made the payment yet.The things I found to be most frustrating, we were asked to clean and prime the bathroom, which they specified specific products. I purchased these out of pocket and did the work. The workers were late, which overall isn’t a problem- I know the drive time was a lot-but we were never told if/when someone would be at the house say-to-day. If we didn’t have to have a person there to ensure the animals didn’t get out, it would have been okay. After the work was completed, I’ve found a couple of gashed in the floor, and the tub, and the transition strips that were placed are loose.Overall-the work got done. I wouldn’t say I recommend them for a smaller job, or residential. Perhaps the commercial and larger jobs are done more efficiently and in a more timely manner, but as it stands, I ended up doing some work, and spent almost 4 entire months with a bathroom that was unusable and having to commute to shower.Service: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

Went round and round with Spangler. Sam tried to butter you up after all went wrong! It took them 5 months to try to finish the floor. We would call them and they wouldn’t call us back. She sent a painter out and didn’t have the paint ordered or delivered. Very unprofessional and will never use them. They tried to use flooring that wasn’t rated for flooring! I have had a stroke and was crying through all this mess! Never call. Please.

Terrible, the insurance company recommended Spangler when our hot water tank leaked and ruined our kitchen and dining room floors, they did half the job, and didn't finish. They broke our water line, and said for us to fix the floor "because it was too weak for their workers to work safely", in spite of the fact that that's what we hired them to fix in the first place, which was a sham to get more money out of us. If you want a better Restoration job, Hendrix Maintainence is a lot better, which is who we hired to fix Spangler's mess, and finish the job they were supposed to do. Plus they wanted to replace our 100 year old oakwood with pine wood, and fake wood, which is not a replacement, and they shot staples into our 100 year old oakwood door jam, to put a plastic sign saying "danger, no entry", INTO 100 YEAR OLD OAKWOOD! And of course, offered to replace it with cheap pinewood. So no, don't even consider Spangler!
