I was about 30 seconds away from spending $132 on a dress for my girlfriend when I asked about their return policy—owner (I’m assuming) responded with “she can exchange it, but money stays here”, which is fine. It wasn’t really the content of what she said that I found offensive, more or less the candor. Update: the associate the owner is referencing below was sweet; could definitely offer lessons on how to articulate policy to customers. Also, dress was cheaper online!

I loved this shop, everyone working was so nice. I had an issue with a pair of shoes and live out of town but they were very quick to respond and kind in helping me resolve the issue!

This is my favorite store ever!! I drive up here from Charlotte once a year to go shopping here. They have incredibly quality clothes for reasonable prices!

I love LP! I have shopped here for over 10 years and they have the best selection in women's clothing and accessories! This is an Owner Operated small business and you can tell! One day I stumbled into lucky penny and got into an hour long conversation with the owner. She made me want to go and buy the entire store. If I could I would. Such a caring and dedicated person. They have amazing, eclectic and fashionable boutique items. Absolutely love this little shop.

I recently visited Boone and all I have to say is shop elsewhere in Boone! The customer service is horrible and they are way too overpriced. The workers here are extremely rude and entitled. I’ve left a review already and they deleted it to hide my experience. From my experience there’s plenty of cute little shops with great people running them all around Boone. Avoid this one, and go to one of those.

Lucky Penny is by far my most favorite place to shop and not just in Boone! This boutique is always in pristine condition, the clothing & style impeccable, & the best staff you can imagine. The love & care that goes into not only the store, but their employees & their customers is undeniable. Truthfully, as a longtime Lucky Penny shopper, I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write a review. Once you step foot inside the door, it feels like you’re with family. To say the very least, I will ALWAYS be a shopper, a supporter, & a fan. Support small business, support local, & support positive energy because it never lies!

This is such a lovely boutique. They sell the cutest and most unique items. It's the perfect place to buy the best gifts and even more perfect to buy gifts for myself. I love the fact that they promote local artisans and their local community. I'm a strong believer in shopping and supporting local buisness's especially like Lucky Penny who gives back to their community. I love that I'm able to purchase something from them (from sweaters to jewelry) and know I will not see those on other people. They have a great collection of hand made items, certainly nothing you would find in Target, or anywhere else for that matter. The prices are very affordable especially since most are hand made. The employees are so kind and helpful and made me feel very welcome. I will be a happy customer for life.

This is an adorable boutique with some really nice quality clothing and accessories. I bought a cute pair of silver hoop earrings that I wear all the time. I'm allergic to a lot of metals but these ones haven't bothered me at all so I know the quality must be good! The girl working at the time was also super friendly and helpful!
