This store caught our eye at first because of it's beautiful aesthetics. After walking in, the variety of unique, clean and simply beautiful home decor took over.We bought a few things for the new house and definitely could have continued to buy more. There were a lot of home designs that inspired and aligned with our tastesThe quality of goods found in the store definitely is a solid 4.5.The two star rating comes from the lack of customer service that we experienced. Walking through the door we weren't greeted. That didn't really bother me.Walking through the store we were not even acknowledged. My wife felt as though we were labeled as people who could not afford to shop there.I watched the employee greet, speak to and helped all the other customers in the storeAfter all the other customers were taken care of and had left, she uttered two words to us.Those two words were, 'excuse me,' as she needed to get by. She then disappeared somewhere in the back.My better half wanted to just leave. I convinced her that we should get the things we like. We drove all the way to Boone. I wasn't going to let someone drag our mood down.We had the find her at the back. Even as we paid and she bagged the merchandise, there wasn't a smile, there wasn't a thank you.I'm not one to care if I'm greeted at the door. I'm mostly a get in and get what I need shopper. However the lack of politeness was a bit much.The designs, paintings and merchandise in the store are quite beautiful but we would never return here again.

Absolutely love Common Good! Live in Banner Elk NC and this is my GO TO shop for gifts, holidays, seasonal decorating, and shopping for clients. I love this shop because of its unique products and friendly staff. Sometimes I even pop in there for some good ole retail therapy because the atmosphere and coffees are amazing!! Thank you guys for being one of the only amazing shops in the high country!!

Common Good is my absolute favorite place to go for *any* sort of gift! The atmosphere is always peaceful, and quality of the products they carry is top-notch. They have an art gallery on the second floor, and their selection of artists is really impressive. Oh, they also have a coffee bar, and their coffee/chai is some of the best I’ve had in Boone! I got an iced chai recently, and it was the perfect amount of sweetness and spice. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, and the aesthetics of the shop are very feng-shui. I want to decorate my house like this, lol! Common Good is always a go-to if I’m in downtown Boone!

I’ve only ever had AMAZING experiences in Common Good! I recently went in and tried their peppermint mocha and toasted marshmallow latte and they were both delicious. I can not recommend this place enough!

This place has beautiful art from local artists. Not only that, but they also sell (very reasonably priced) coffee. I had a Smores flavored iced coffee that I thought was excellent. A very nice place on King Street that is worth stopping in for both locals and tourists alike

It's a really nice place with a very good selection of gifts and clothing. They have a lot of very unique items as well. A great place to find something special that is not going to be duplicated anywhere. It was clean and had a refreshingly earthy feel inside and in a good way. Very open and airy. The employees were very nice and outgoing. They have a small art gallery upstairs. And they also have an Espresso Bar. Killer Chai Latte by the way.

Such a lovely shop! Beautifully-curated seasonal decor, home goods, art, and even furnishings. I love the addition of the coffee bar and being able to enjoy seasonal drinks while shopping.

This store is stunning. An absolute must when in town. So much incredible local art, pottery, and other goods. Couldn't recommend it more! Great for gifts, decorating your home, and getting some local art. The gallery upstairs is also an experience in and of itself.

I love this store! It has unique gifts for every occasion and the art gallery is amazing! If you are visiting Boone or Blowing rock, they have a sister store as well! Great experience
